Default Another New Cuttlebug Machine

Hi

I am not sure if this was posted or not but thought it would be worth mentioning again. I went on provocraft website and noticed that they have new cuttlebug embossing folders and new 6x13 spacer mat. This prompted me to do a google search for 6x13 spacers and found that there is a lot more new product release from provocraft, including a white and red cuttlebug. here is the link http://blucricut.wordpress.com/

What do you think?

I really like this red and white machine, but don't know if I NEED to change out the one I have. LOVE my bug!
Thanks for the link.

Thank you so very much for posting that link! Those new embossing and emboss/cut systems for the bug look fantastic!

thanks for posting this. I really thought the bug needed a better look & they sure came through with it. I've always had good luck ordering through HSN so I'll be looking for it's release. Thanks, JIL

The new bug is attractive, but I could never justify spending the money to buy a new one when mine works just fine.

I'm excited about the longer plates and new folders. (If only I could find someone who sold them around here!) But I'm wondering about the "new" Bug ... Is it just a new color and pretty design, or does it do something that the current one doesnt? Because I'm definitely not going to buy a new Bug just for the color and pretty design on it.

Will the longer plates work with the dies from the big shot like the box #2? I can use them but get a crease, I'm thinking these would take care of that?

I'm hoping to use the longer Cuttlebug plates with the Sizzix XL dies too! Fingers crossed! It did not look like they were for sale yet on creativexpress.com yet. Too bad because everything is 20% off.

I think this is the machine they were showing at CHA. It is going to be on HSN in Feb. I believe. If this is the same one, it cuts leather, fabric and all sorts of great things like the big shot. There were so many great items there it was hard to keep track of everything. HtH

I totally agree! And if you want it decorated - you can use rub ons or vinyl cut outs to decorate your bug!

FYI...I do use the Sizzix border dies (Sizzlits Decorative Strips) with the Sizzix cutting pad and extended spacer platform (2.75" x 13.5") in my Cuttlebug in place of the standard Cuttlebug A & B plates and it works great.

I'm salivating over the Nursery Rhymes and Robots carts as well as the Clockworks embossing folder.

I've tried this and it was a REALLY tight fit for me. It went through, but I was afraid it would break my machine if I tried again. I'm hoping for better luck with the CB extended plates.

Oh my. Where will I get the money for all the new cuttlebug folders? I want them all.
Sure wish A.C. Moore and Michaels sold more of a selection.

You've answered by question without me even asking. lol! I have been debating getting it through HSN with all the deals and things they give in. They're sold out now, but now I'm hooked and will wait. I have to wait until the end of the month anyways. So works for me!! woop woop!!
