Splitcoaststampers.com - the world's #1 papercrafting community
You're currently viewing Splitcoaststampers as a GUEST. We pride ourselves on being great hosts, but guests have limited access to some of our incredible artwork, our lively forums and other super cool features of the site! You can join our incredible papercrafting community at NO COST. So what are you waiting for?
Would you please tell me more about this group? Why is there more steps to join these additional groups?
No additional steps are needed, unless you are not a member of the RAK group.
RAK stands for Random Acts of Kindness. The RAK group is a large group of SCS-ers that just like to send cards to each other. It is very easy to join. Just click on your name in the upper right hand corner and your profile will show up. Now down the list of options on the right you will see one called "Group Memberships." Select this and you will see the different groups you can join.
Join RAK and you can easily access the I-RAK group. The I-RAK group is a bunch of RAK members that have decided to include sending stamped images (uncolored) with or without cards to each other. This is not an Image Swap. This is a Random Act of Kindness.
Each member posts 3 initial wishes of images they wished they had. Other members will then grant those wishes, sometimes letting you know it is coming, and other times as a surprise! You must then post a "thank you" to that person... why? Because everytime somebody posts a "thank you" to you, you receive bonus wishes. And I must tell you that some of our ladies have already earned more than 20-40 wishes! People are receiving images like crazy!
So if you're not a RAK member.. check it out.. then join us in granting and receiving image wishes too!
what does all these BUMP posts mean?? Or should I know this
Debbie
hehe..
A lot of people use the option "New Posts" near the top of the forum lists to view the posts updated since they were last online. Sometimes posts can disappear with the large number of posts being entered everyday.
By entering a post on this thread, "bump" in this case, it "bumps" it back onto the recent posts list so it can be seen closer to the top of the list. Hope that makes sense.
How long does it take to be accepted into the RAK Group. Going on 2 days now and I was just wondering if there is a time frame. Or do they have to do a security check??? lol

I could take up to a week. It just depends how many requests Gina is being socked with. Don't worry! We'll still be here!
