I made a baseball card for my baseball crazy SIL a few years ago. Not a lot of stamping, mostly eylets and string. have a look >>> I'll attach it to this note.
I was so intent on trying to attach the picture of the baseball card, I forgot to say: I drew a curve on the edge of a piece of cardstock and marked places for the eyelets. Then, by trial and error, I managed to get the string laced in right to look like baseball stitching. I then mounted that cardstock on a small invitation size card. Depending on how many you are planning to make, it could be a cute invitation! Good Luck!
At the top of this page, click on the word "gallery" and you will find thousands of cards in hundreds of categories. But, type the word "baseball" in the search box, click GO and it will narrow down the numbers to only 250 or so.

That is so adorable! I will have to copy that for a scrapbook page. I don't think I would want to make a bunch of invites, but one page is definitely do-able!!!

OMG that is great if you're only doing 1, but for invites, I'd whimp out and just gel pen it.
