DSS stands for Divine Secret Sisters...check out the top of this thread...it will tell you all the information that you need to know about DSS. Once signups are closed...we will receive information about who our "Little Sis" is...if you have any questions...PM the moderator for this group Christine P, she can give you any additional information that you need. Have a wonderful day!
When do we find out who are sister is and where we can send the goodies. This is my first time so I don't know anything.
You'll find out this week. We are putting some finishing touches on things. We should have the lists to coordinators by late tomorrow afternoon (Wednesday). You'll have to contact your little sis by anonymous email to get her mailing address.

Remember to send your info to Christine! Subscribing to this thread only gets you notification of anyone posting to it, and makes it easier to find. I only subscribed to bump it up before the new round started and also to get it on my subscription list so I could find it easily. I often refer to this thread for newcomers etc...
But if you post here but don't send in your info to Christine, you are not signed up! Just and FYI.

When you say "send cards" do you mean blank or write a note to your secret sibling?
Actually, that isn't a stupid question at all! We get it a lot, and it is nice for clarification. I'll edit the thread to indicate!
You can send blank or written in cards. If you send a blank card for your little sister to use again, we ask that you please include a little note on paper inside of the card...just a little "hope you are smiling today" type of note.

One more question; Do you get to know something about your Sibling? Favorite colors, what equiptmanet they might need or want? Do you get to communicate withthem by email as well as snail-mail gifts and cards?

Yes, Jan you do. Each sister completes a little questionnaire that is posted that addresses favorite color, style, birthday, etc. And we do Email each other back and forth. It is really a great way to befriend someone and a ton of fun. Hope you will be encouraged to try it.

We are going to change things up just a little bit next round. Instead of everyone answering about 25 questions in one thread, we are going to have each person post the answers in their own thank you thread, so it will be easier for the Big Sis/Bro to find.
We don't mandate email communication, however, so your Big/Little Sibling may or may not chat back and forth via email - just a heads up about that. Sometimes you get a chatty Big/Little, sometimes you don't. It is just "luck of the draw."

I'm in! It was so fun being and having a big/little sister during my sorority days! This is perfect, I love getting mail. I love making someone secretly happy.

Hi, I'm in as well. I love the whole concept of being "assigned" a new sister. I can never had enough sisters since God didn't provide a biological one.
