I am so thrilled to get my Demo kit today.
I want to use acrylic mounts. Are there lots of Demo's who use these?
Looking forword to making some card samples from my new stamps.
Thanks everyone on this forum with all the help & ideas.

Congrats on your demo kit! What a fun box to open!
No, as a Stampin' Up! demo, I do not use acrylic mounts. Since SU only sells stamps on wood, I don't feel that it's in the best interest of my business.

Congrats! No I don't use acrylic mounts because SU doesn't sell their stamp sets that way and I don't want my customers to think that they do. You should mount them to the wood blocks so you're customers don't get mislead and you don't misrepresent SU to your customers.

To be honest, I've used both acrylic and wood (not on SU stamps, though), but I think that the wood mount gives you a better print. I'm not a demo, but have used CTMH stamps, also, and I don't like as much.

WooHoo! It's just like a birthday present!!!!

I still use wood, I have some acrylics but I haven't found that there's a problem with wood yet and as long as SU! still has wood mounts that's what I'm sticking with. I found out a long time ago that if you have something from another source that you bring to a workshop or stamp class....others want it too. I show only SU! products and save non-SU products for my personal use.

Have a great time and wishing you well in your new venture xx
