OK gals THis is going to be SUNDAY the 27th @ 2:00 pm. If you are going I will need you to PM me so I have an idea of how many seats to set aside. If you would like to bring a SWAP for everyone that is good it is not required BUT it wil be nice for those who have time.. RIght now we are looking at 19-24 ladies. SOme might forget or not come BUT this is the standing number. I would like to make this the 1st of a quarterly meeting that we could all bring swaps to. I have my inlaws comming into town so this will be a great break for me BUT my MIL will come. She is not a stamper but a nice lady so this will be good for her to see all the fun we get to have. If you know of others let them know about this If you MUST bring the kids this is OK but It is not geared for the kids and they might get upset. It is up to you if you need to bring them they are welcome I dont want you to stay home because you do not haev a sitter. I can not wait to meet you all... I might get time tonight to pop out a cahrm or something for the ladies this could be fun BUT I am not going to say you MUST bring a swap because Life happens... Enjoy the snow ladies!

Ok to all who want to swap it looks like the Snow and Life have scaires some of the girls off..LOL... OK we have now 13 confirmed and I would not make more then 15 swaps but if you want to be safe you can make 20.... WHatever....

Ok, we had a small group today but it really was nice to meet everyone! I will post swap pics and the group pick as soon as I can get my laptop to talk to my desktop. aaaarrrrgggggg computers!
Next is the shoebox swap. I'm game for anything after the middle of March and we can have the first one at my house.
And so we really confuse everyone, just call me Mo and stampin2day4ever can stay Monica!

Wish I had seen this yesterday lol
My name is Beth and I am at Fort Belvoir, there is so much stuff on this group that it is taking me a while to get to all the areas and I finally make it to this one, to find out you all met yesterday.
My story, a day late and a piece of cardstock short.
I can't believe that I looked forward to the get together for so long and now it is over! But definitely a fun time!
I would love to particpate in the shoebox swap, however, I am swamped until April. Since I work, evenings or weekends are best for me! Hope I can make it!
Hello gals I had a great time meeting you all.. I am so excited to have got to put the faces and the names together.I talked your ears off.LOL I am so excited to have fellow stampers in the area after being displaced for so long....You all are so great.My MIL really got a kick out of us. She said she thinks we really must love this to have lunches and talk about stamping all the time..Who knows I could get her into it yet.LOL.
I would love to do this again on How about APRIL 3....... Lets make the date it is a month away and this gives all of us time to get it together and have a shoebox swap if we want to bring or you can bring a reg. swap if you cant find the time for a shoe box.....

On April 3rd I will turn 40 years old!!! I have to say I will not be able to attend an event on that day! Not becasue it is my birthday, but rather my husband is working and I have the kids!
Last year on my birthday I had a stamp camp. Everyone who attended and brought me a card got free shipping! Giving presents out on my birthday! But it garenteed I got tons of cards!!!
I will have to catch you next time if you end up doing something on the 3rd! I am free late afternoon on the 10th (Sun). ANd I think the weekend of the 22nd also looks good! Otherwise see you at a later date!!!
Ok I think the 10th at 1:30 would be great. It is right after reg. so we (the demos will be pumped up and the non demos we might bring something back that is new to show you all how to do..I was thrilled to see all the stampers that did show to the Lunch.. The next one will be at Fort Belvoir I can get a room for us to all enjoy ourselves. The only part to this is you are not to bring food or drink into this place.If you choose to eat or drink it must be from the shop we will meet at.....

I would prefer NOT to meet on Fort Belvoir. It is a bit difficult to gain entrance if you don't have a permit. I like Mo's idea about meeting at her (or someone else's) house! It would be more personal. And food and drinks are allowed.
Another possibility would be using a room in a local library. I know they can be reserved for non-for-profit events...such as our gathering would be!

All you need to get onto Belvoir is a drivers license and proof of insuranse.
I would love to come meet you all. For me it will depend on whether my husband is in the country or not. He is gone quite frequently and it is hard to find a sitter for a special needs kid.
I'd love to meet whenever. I missed the last one, darn it. So glad it's coming up soon because I have lots of cards to give Mo for troops -- saves postage! (Mo, I saw this topic after I sent you a PM re the cards-for-wounded-troops thread. You're still VERY welcome to call me!)
