According to their website, ours-the first one in Oregon-is opening in early June. Only 2 months to go! It's about 9 miles away.
I've been to only one-in Idaho-and only bought glue dots. We didn't have time to really explore the store and I was totally overwhelmed! NOTHING like that in my area before now.
I just checked gale's Hobby Lobby list...there's one opening in Petoskey, MI...45 miles away but in the same town where I shop for everything else!
Sorry to go way off topic, but I just can't resist.
PurplePansy26, do you really live on the Island all year round? It is one of our absolute favorite places .
Drove by our soon-to-open store today at the local mall. Their signs are up outside, finishing up the exterior, (it's a combination/remodel of two stores) and they're hiring. I could see the inside of the store all lit up and finished but nothing in it yet, just a vast open space. I can't wait!
Went to the Concord store yesterday - it just opened - and I agree wholeheartedly with craftyteaspoon. LOTS of stuff I have no interest in. My general impression is that it is going to be very similar to Michaels and JoAnns - not much imagination/inspiration. I sure am missing the LSS's !!!

Yay! Let me know where and when...
