I am so sorry for your loss. My prayers and thoughts are with you.
Having had 3rd degree burns myself - over my entire back, plus - I know
a little of what you are/will be going through.
Yours was one of the first companies I ordered from years ago when
I first began crafting. I always loved everything. Your site and offerings
were the best! I am so fortunate to have dealt with you.
I can't imagine how you feel from losing your things, but I can imagine how you feel about your dogs...because when I was in college a thousand years ago, my little toy manchester terrier got poisioned by someone who went through our neighborhood and put out poision...6 family pets got into it, and my beloved Sonny Boy was one of them. We never could prove who did what, but we all had a good idea who it was... I remember one lady going through the neighborhood with children behind her like a parade...telling them to NEVER pick up anything off the ground and put it in their mouths, because whoever would poision a dog, would poision a human too...
Probably fair advice at the time, due to the fact that the poision was indeed in a hunk of bologna...
Tamara, I too cried for days...it was senseless, just like what happened to you makes no sense...
{{{Tamara, Ken, and family}}}
I have already jumped on the RAK list saying I too will be sending you a few things...and I did not even hear about your situation via SCS...I am in a separate list NCSU Demos on yahoo...and that is how I got the info...
I didn't know you before...but now I feel like I do...and I feel like I made a new friend here...and that's a good thing... Take care and God bless you all, and I am so glad you all are safe...
I am SO SORRY for your lost. I too had lost everything in a home fire including our beloved cats and a dog. My heart go's out to you and your husband and thank god you both got out alive. Prayers and Hugs to you both.

I am so sorry for your loss, especially the loss of your "babies". We are big animal-lovers (including owning a dog - and many other pets, plus fostering for the local humane society), so I know how keenly you must miss them.
I'm glad that you and your husband are OK. I wish you a speedy and full recovery.
So sorry. Many prayers that you can find a way to get your lives back in order. I know the loss of your furbabies is weighing heavy on your heart. I pray you can find peace with that very soon.
I am so sorry about your loss. I am so thankful that you and your husband are alright. My prayers go out to you & your family and all those affected by these horrible fire storms. Although I generally am just a lurker :-), please if there is anything that I can do from Kansas..... don't hesitate to let me know.
I have just read of your tragic loss - my heart goes out to yuo and your husband. Losing a family pet is dreadful, I know, and my thoughts are with your dear two as they cross over the rainbow bridge. Blessings. Annie J x
MY HEART GOES OUT TO YOU AND YOUR HUSBAND FOR YOUR LOSS. THE MATERIAL ITEMS ARE JUST THINGS, BUT YOUR FUR BABIES... I FEEL THE TEARS IN MY EYES.. GOD BLESS YOU AND MAY THERE BE SUNNY SKIES AHEAD...
Location: Somewhere peaceful, spending my time stamping!

I am in tears just reading this tragic news. I just saw it today and cannot imagine the pain. My thoughts and prayers are with you. I was just using one of my card ladies templates just the other day. And I love using the bow maker that I just found a month or so ago. I don't know what I would be doing without your tools. THank you so much for everything. I will be here for you in mind and spirit and in prayers.
How tragic for you. I am SOOO sorry, especially for the loss of your dogs. I know how devastating that must be. Hope you can recoup from this soon. Bet wishes, Rose
sending along hugs and a lot of prayers that things work out for you and your family. So sorry to hear of the loss of your poodles. We have 2beagles and I wouldn't know what to do without them around. I am just glad that you and your husband are ok. Again...prayers and love coming to you and yours.

Tamra, I am so sorry for your loss! Here I was emailing you and wondering where my order was, and now I understand why you weren't replying . . . mine must have been burnt up *cries* (((((((((((((((((BIG HUGS)))))))))))))) and I am again so sorry for the loss of your fur babies and your house . . . thinking of you.
Tamara.....loss is so hard to take in but when you lose your home, all your possessions and your three babies all at once you become numb. Your grief will come in stages and you will, at times, feel that you can't take it all in, but the Lord will carry you in His precious hands through the hard, hard times. We have a minidoxie and I am shedding tears thinking about how our hearts would break if Miss Daisy were lost. I don't know where in Southern California you are located, but I have been tuned in to KOGO and KFI for four days. I will be praying for you. The Lord bless you and keep you in His precious care. We are close enough that we can be of help to you. Please PM when you can to let me know what we can do.

Words cannot express the sorrow we feel for you with the loss of your home & pets. At the same time, we are so thankful that you are alive & on your way to finding healing & restoration. You are in our thoughts & hearts...
I'm sooo sorry to hear this! I'm glad that you and your husband got out, but so sorry to hear about your dogs. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers as you go through the healing process and deal with the loss of your home.
I recently received my "I 'heart' Rubber Stamping" tshirt (coffee mug, too) and had fun showing it off on Friday when I hosted a mini stamp camp with the ladies at work. I will cherish it even more now.
I'm in Southern California with fires burning all around us. Our school site where I work is taking Thursday and Friday off due to the poor air quality now affecting that area. Current estimates are that 1000 homes have been lost since Sunday morning when the fires began appearing, and five people have lost their lives in the fire. Let 's keep them all in our thoughts and prayers.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your husband. I'm so sorry for the loss of your home, business and poodles. I'll pray for you and your husband to fully recover and start anew.
I was very sorry to hear the news of the loss of your home and pets/dog children. It must be a very difficult time for you and your family. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Best wishes for a speedy recovery with your health and a bright future. I was very pleased with my purchase when you were in business and would purchase again if you do reopen for business.

I wanted to get on for a few minutes tonight and send an update since I have been scarce for the last several days. I did have a lot of burns on my arms, chest and face, and a bunch of my hair burned off around my face, but miraculously, nothing was hurting. Ken says it is a good thing it is almost Halloween, because I have scared a few small children looking like the mummy with a mullet. ;-) The hospital sent me home with several pain prescriptions including 100 ct oxycodone (the good stuff). I told them I didnt think I needed it, I was tough, and they were like right get these filled. There were about 4 good days when I was even able to go to Walmart with Ken and get us some clothes and towels and stuff. I saw and chatted with a stamping friend from the Carolina Stampers group, I was able to drive with my right hand by Friday and felt good enough to take Belle to Petsmart for an industrial strength doggie wash and new halter that didnt stink like the fire. More on that trip in a second.
And then Friday afternoon, the nerves decided to start regenerating. OMG, I have been hitting those pills hard ever since and staying in bed sleeping as much as possible (drs orders) with a home health care nurse checking on me and dressing those burns. The pain is just barely tolerable now, several days later. So today the nurse gave me a flu shot and now I have flu symptoms and a fever tonight. Great. Ha! It really has just gotten funny to us and we are glad to be able to laugh at this junk. We also got a certified letter today from the City of Charlotte saying our house was not up to code and had many violations including no working smoke detector and we have to appear at a hearing in November. DUH! Our house is one wall!!! Like there isnt enough to deal with. How ridiculous.
But I wanted to share a good story from PetSmart on Friday. I picked up Belle and had told them that she had alerted me and saved us and was a miracle dog for surviving the fire. And they had all seen it on the news, and were glad Belle survived because the news stations didnt know that part. Apparently the TV and Radio stations had run the story all weekend while we were at the hospital and basically used us as the poster children for stupid saying how dumb we were to get hurt trying to save our doggies. So anyway, I get Belle and go out to pay with the groomer carrying her for me, and a training class was letting out so there were a bunch of folks and their dogs there then. The groomer announced to the group that this was the little hero poodle that had alerted her family and survived the fire even though the other dogs did not. And all the folks gathered around telling me they had heard the story and that they would have done the same thing and petting and bragging on Belle. It was really great, for me and for Belle too! Pet folks and stampers are just the most good hearted folks in the world!
AND I want to share sincere RAK thanks to you guys, the most generous bunch of stampers in the world! One lady had asked if there was a fund in our town for us and the answer is no, nor do we want one. We havent contacted the Red Cross or other service organizations either, because there are others more needy than us in those regards. We are houseless and stuffless, but thanks to our daughter we are not homeless. Home is where your heart is and in the big scheme of things we are more fortunate than others that have gone thru this because we never had to wonder where were we going to live as we get thru this terrible process.
We do have to save receipts of everything we buy for the insurance company, and it is like no privacy at all. So as far as craft and stamping stuff goes, I am considering gifts like that more as a pay it forward type of thing. I know it is therapy, you guys know it is therapy, but trying to explain that to the insurance company and to Ken when he has only 3 pairs of underwear well, I thankfully accept your very generous gifts with love and humble appreciation.
These gifts include:
A box of fun stamping goodies from R. Perry including a simple sayings stamp set, ink pads, alphabet stamps, ribbon, clear stamps, cool felt leaves I hadnt seen before, and other cute leaf embellishments. Cute!
A box full of goodies from Peggy Sue a pack of Always Artichoke Cardstock and a bunch of white as well , a versamark, navy Su pad, 4 fabulous stamps sets, ribbons and a very appropriate girl thing card about the therapy of stamping. So true!
Then there was a stuffed envelope from Kay Kalthoff with some great shadow stamps, ribbon, brads, Flower stamps and (amazingly!) a Happy Anniversary stamp! I couldnt believe it! Today is my anniversary and one thing that had really bothered me was that I was unable to make Ken a special card this year. So I was able to make one after all boy was he surprised!
A big box of 7 wonderful SU stamp sets from Carol Burrage (aka TruCarMa) plus a gorgeous card and a note that truly touched me. Such true words and hit right on what I have been feeling. Thanks so much for sharing your story with me.
And then a big box of SU ink pads from Joan Bardee, a silent setter (great for the brads from Kay!), punches, glitter glue, embellishments and stamps. Great colors for stamping now, I cant wait to feel better and get really inky.
An envelope FULL from Paula Laird with stamps sets, cool embellishments and rub-ons, ribbons, decorative papers and scissors.
A Happy Fall, Yall! set from J. Grzelak in Ct. that gave me a chuckle as a southern gal I will put this one to good use!
Then a HUGE box from Stampin Up arrived today from Denise Hinton. Full of Stazon inks, and In Color Stamp pads and cardstock and ribbons, plus those stamping staples you take for granted like a paper cutter, glue stick and dots, stamp scrub pad and cleaner and wonderful stamp sets too! Wow, I couldnt believe it. So generous! You are an angel!
And lots of the most beautiful stamped cards I have ever seen. I am almost speechless, and that is hard to do! There are lots of emails and sweet notes I havent gotten a chance to get to yet.to return. But I will. And thanks for the prayers for us and our sweet fur babies. We feel them, believe me.
I am terribly sorry for your loss of your 3 puppies, your health, your business and your home. I have lost family in a house fire and know how devestating this to you. I will pray for you and your DH to make a quick recovery.

I am so sorry to hear about this, and the loss of your fur babies. I know how hard this must be. Thank Goodness you and your husband got out alive, I'm hoping and praying your burns continue to heal and may God bless you & your DH as you rebuild. Healing Hugs.
I am so very sorry for all that you and your family have and will have to endure. The loss of your pets is devastating and the injuries to your husband and yourself are painful in many ways. Sincerely,
Trish.
