Good Morning! Just wanted to alert the Houston area stampers and scrappers that a new Archivers store is opening this Friday, January 26 at 9:30am. The store is located in Katy which is west of Houston. According to their website the first 100 customers from the 26th to the 28th will receive a gift. I can't wait to get in the store and see what they have. I have heard about Archivers but have never been in a store.
Hay Bama, Paint me green!! Get your smellin' salts ready!!! You're gonna LOVE it!!! Our closest one is in Atlanta. Be sure to wear comfy shoes and leave all credit cards home that you don't want maxed out... lol!! ENJOY!!

Wooooo!Hoooooooooooooo! Just got back from the grand opening of Archivers and the store was wonderful. I didn't get to see everything because I had my DS with me but I did get some Rhonda Farr stamps in the $1.99 bin and finally got some stickles. Plan to go back as soon as my DH is back in town. I have to be able to see everything without carting a kid around.
If you live in the Houston area this is a must.
Have a great stamping kind of day!
Melinda
How cool! Thanks for letting us know! Can't wait to get there and check it out! I am envisioning lots of trips to Katy in the near future, maybe I can squeeze it in this weekend.
The store is huge. Everything scrapbook related is there. I have not seen such a good selection of albums until this store. I am not a scrapper but love incorporating elements of scrapping into my cards. They had plenty of stamps, paper, embellishments, stickers, tools, chipboard, etc.... Just about anything you want. FYI I stood in line for over an hour checking out. Be prepared for it to be busy again tomorrow.
YIKES!!! I can't believe it took so long - sounds worse than Christmas!! glad you had fun tho - hope you left some things for the rest of us to buy!!! LOL
