They're in the $1 bins away from the regular stamps....they're normally with all the $1 items.....I know, I just bought all 15 new $1 clear stamps last night....I was on my knees because they always put them on the bottom bins for some reason.
I just went to my Michaels, and asked about the stamps - this is what they said... That these stamps were used as fillers for the aisles because they are waiting for the Martha Stewart line. The stamps sold out in 3 days - they had a lot of them and they are not getting any more in because of people selling them for a higher price on ebay
AC Moore had more of a selection of these stamps than my Michael's did.. I liked the one they had there. Of course, our Michael's is not very good and has like NO stamping/scrapping stuff, esp. compared to AC Moore an hr away!

I BUY THE DOLLAR STAMP ALL THE TIME. THE STAMPS ARE IN A BIDS IN THE FRONT OF THE STORE LOOK AROUND IF YOU STILL CAN FIND THEM CHECK WHERE ALL THE CLEARANCE STUFF IS.
I guess i'm a bit confused. Do the clear stamps stick to the blocks that you can buy at TAC and elsewhere (acrylic) I have a few and just clean them with regular stamp cleaner but can use any ideas. I think I'll head out to M's today
I used a few of my sets tonight, and some of the stamps (not all) turned yellow after I cleaned them. Has anyone else experienced this or know why it happened?
I cleaned mine today with a water based stamp cleaner (Ranger brand) and they seemed to be fine.
I read somewhere something about cleaning the acrylic stamps, and I think it said not to use solvent cleaners. Ranger also makes a solvent cleaners, as does StazOn--I think you're supposed to use those to clean the StazOn ink or solvent based (dye??) inks.
Thanks for the info. I used regular stamp cleaner from SU I had a TAC demo that said it was ok to use on their stamps but now I'm not so sure There was a recipe (for lack of a better word for a stamp cleaner that had glycerin in it would that work???
I just went to 'M''s. I did not see them. Would they be in the regular aisle with all of the other stamps?
Our Michael's has a round, 3 or 4 tiered bin that they put all their dollar stamps in. They used to keep it by the other dollar bins, but now it's down in the middle of the front aisle where they have the gift wrapping stuff--a little out of the way and not so visible, so maybe that's why my store still had so many!
Our store hasn't put anything in where the Martha stuff is going to go! They've moved a lot of stuff around, but it's very obvious the Martha stuff is going to go where all the blank shelves and spaces are!
Does Ranger cleaner really clean the stamps after using the Stax-On? My stamps seems so awful even after trying to clean them right after using the Staz-On
Our Michaels always had the $1 stamps in round bins by the cash register I haven't been there in a while but am going this weekend so I'll be sure to look around if they're not there. Thnks for all the tips and info

OMG! I know what you mean about these cute stamps. I just picked some up yesterday. I was even on the floor looking thru the piles of them. I only found 10, but I had kids with me so I will be back tomorrow. Hopefully, they'll have the rest of them. I couldnt believe it. I called my sister too and she was excited too. I hope everyone finds theres.

Does Ranger cleaner really clean the stamps after using the Stax-On? My stamps seems so awful even after trying to clean them right after using the Staz-On
Hi Annette~
The Ranger cleaner I have is water-based, but I saw the solvent-based one on the Stamp and Go website in the "Stamp Cleaner" section under Accessories. They also had the StazOn solvent cleaner in the "Ink Pads-StazOn Ink Pads and Re-Inkers" section.
I haven't actually tried the solvent cleaner for the StazOn ink, but I'm planning to buy one of these solvent cleaners to do so. If anyone else has tried it, maybe they can let us both know;) !
My Michael's didn't have not even one! However, my Michael's was rearranging all their aisles and the lady there told me that I should come back tomorrow because they were putting out all kinds of new stock! I will report back tomorrow and let you know what I find!
Well ladies, thank you for all of you information as to where to find them. I am off to find the MIA $1 stamps right now. I will report back, and then maybe take you up on your offer to buy them from you, (Pammyrn).
Can anyone help me on how you get those quotes from previos entrees at the top of your messages?
I also picked up 3 sets and 2 blocks this weekend at a Michael's. We happened to be in the area which is definitely not local for us. My husband and son were at Micro Center (same as CompUSA) so I went to Michael's. I found merely by accident and then I realized what I had found. Then I started digging! I guess for me its the thrill of the hunt. I heard about the sets and kept stalking the ones nearby but no luck.
It is surely a blessing to the ones who live in remote towns (like me) to see people wanting to "share" their finds and not after the almighty "profit"! The Lord will surely bless all and SCS for their wonderful and kind hearts.....
Okay, I am back from my shopping extravaganza...One Michaels' has lots on order, and I am on her call list when they come in. I did see these little acrylic blocks. The question is, do we buy these as well, or do they come with the stamps. Hey pug mama, how is it going?
Oh I got bit by the bug........I finally got the Cuddlebug, yeah for me..
After scouting out the Michael's on one side of town and asking the clerk who didn't seem very thrilled I asked, I called the other Micahael's in town. The girl said that they have them so I'm on my way to see if it's true! Let's hope they still do!! :-D

Woo hoo!! My Michael's in Calgary, AB FINALLY got them in!! I bought 7 sets puls the 2 blocks. It's about time, I've been checking twice a week since this thread was first posted. Of course they're $1.50 here cause I'm in the tundra and it costs more to get stuff here by dog sled! But they're still a deal!
Well, if they are in Calgary they should be here in Edmonton soon, I guess I'll be stalking Michael's all next week. Bondgurl, did you notice which sets were in? The first ones or the second ones? Someone else on the boards posted that they found a THIRD set. Also, for my fellow American stamp-a-holics, someone mentioned they saw these stamps at Shopko too. You guys are SO lucky, you get all the best stores!
My daughter just picked up a set of stamps for herself and I. They finally got them in Idaho where she lives. I live in Oregon and I Checked at the Micheal's In the Tri-Cities ,Wa and they don't have the stamps yet. The First ones sold in a big hurry, So I'm glad she found them where she lived for both of us, because its quite a drive for me to Michael's.

I have no idea which sets these are. I've heard some people going by colour of the packaging, but the stamps I got have pink, green, blue and yellow packaging, so I'm not sure of the relevence.
I'm having trouble posting a picture of what I got, but they are NOT the ones shown at the beginning of THIS thread, I believe they are the ones that were posted on the original $1 stamp thread, and I apperently got 12 sets not 7.
Good thing it's my birthday! My DH was just staring at them as I layed tham all out on the table, my saving grace was that they were so cheap!!

I found them at one of my local M's and was able to pull together 3 full sets - Mom, me and someone here. I have the full set of 16 from the second wave - the pink ones - and the two blocks. The $18 for the stamps/blocks + tax and shipping is all I ask... PM me if interested.
I've been stalking our Michael's and finally they got in a big selection of the pink wrapped stamps. I found all 16 styles, some of the blocks, and bought a couple for my good stamping friend.
Now, do I keep checking back to see if they come up with the other previously wrapped colors??
Oh there is hope, I sure wish they would come to Hamilton,Ontario soon!!!!!!
