So who has contributed all of the recipes? Just curious...didn't feel the need to scan all of those posts to find out. Sorry it's a lazy rainy kinda day and the kiddos ran off with my patience.
I don;t know why we are bumping this one! If you are subscribed, just wait until it appears in your Subscription list at the top with a post from Catie. Everytime I check the thread, I wade through numerous posts just to see Catie did not update yet. anyway... I am just confused about the Bump.
I bump for more exposure for other users who are not aware there is potentially another cookbook in the works. I also bump hoping the hostess will leave an update. It has been a while since we've heard from her.
Will the cookbook be offered in the SCS store? I'd like to be on the list for one please.
I'm not sure, but I don't think it will be available in the store. For the first cookbook, my friend bought one for me as a RAK. This time I hope to return the favor. Anyway, I think we work things out through this thread. If I'm wrong, can anyone give us their input?
Anyone have any ideas on who else we can contact on this? Even if this doesn't go through, I would still like to know. Don't like being left in the dark.

My personal thought is that if you can't get an answer from Catie then I'd jump up the ladder to Big Daven himself.
It has been a long time since we've received an update. Just hoping that no news is good news.
Oh, that's great. I would like one as well. I added recipes and never did get the first one, so would love to purchased this one. Thanks for all your hard work. It's much appreciated...
No on is paying attention to this thread to update us. I have PM'd a few people with no responsible. Not very happy that its got to this point.
I wonder if there is a lack of interest, that it might spur some activity.
Sort of given up on the idea of getting one, maybe we should concentrate on making a volume 3. I wonder if we could get it done before volume 2 comes out.

I would hate to offend Catie but I too was starting to wonder if we shouldn't all but give up.. :( Does anyone know how much work it is to get one of these started??
I've pretty much given up myself. I sent an e-mail to splitcoast a while back and haven't heard anything. If they had decided not to go through with this, it would have been polite to say so in this thread.
I wouldn't worry just yet. It takes a REALLY LONG TIME to do a cookbook.
I was really surprised that Catie said she was going to take it on AGAIN. She was working with someone the last time and she (the other person) left towards the end because many were harrasing her that she had their money and there was no cookbook, etc. It was getting ugly and too stressful, so she backed out towards the end. The issues were with the printers a few times (if I remember correctly).
That's why I was surprised that Catie wanted to take it on again. I can only imagine how stressful it is when your mailbox is full of SCS'rs complaining where their cookbook is when your hands are tied and it's the printers fault that it's not here yet!
Give her some time...you will all get your cookbooks when it's ready!
The waiting will make it even more worth it! LOL!
So, for now be patient...Catie is not blowing you off. I'm sure she has a lot on her "plate". (Like a regular job and a family too!)
I guess I find it odd that she hasn't even posted anywhere on this board since 5/29/07.
Maybe she is hurt, sick, or in the hospital.
She has two posts on 6/27/07; a couple more on 5/29/07; then 5/1/07. So it looks like something happed in late April or Early May and she has hardly posted since then. Of course I can't tell if she is reading and not posting! ;)
Sometimes life does get it in the way. Hope she is able to join us again~
Was looking to see how many the minimum was to make cookbooks through a different company and it is 200.. Hmmm It would be fairly easy to do but it would require preorders or at least for sure head counts... I don't want to step on toes here but I too am anxious for a new tried and true cookbook..
