DETAILS:
Monday, January 10th
6-9 PM
Alicia's (love6kids) house (Please PM for directions)
1. We are going to have a shoebox swap. This means that you will bring a shoebox (or similar box) containing your sample card or non-card, with all of the supplies necessary for each person to make that identical item. This means that all of your cardstock is cut, and you are providing the stamps, ink, etc. for your project. This should be something that can be completed in 10 minutes or less, so nothing very complicated, please. We would appreciate if everything is SU *if possible*. Please let us know if you have any questions about this.
2. Also, we would like for everyone to bring a snack or dessert to share, potluck style.
I'd love to come. I'm a little concerned about the shoebox swap tho.
I have been to a few stamp camps and have seen the materials that were provided by the demo (stamps and pads) get really messed up. The wooden handles with ink all over them, the stamp pads with other colors smooshed into them. These were experienced stampers.
I'm not comfortable sharing my supplies with others that may not take as much care with them as I would.
So, if you decide to change this to sometihng different or offer a different get together at a later date, please let me know. Thanks!

Hi Aubrey! I am so glad you want to come!! If you don't feel comfortable doing a shoebox swap, that's okay. We would LOVE you to come anyway. You can meet everybody and have lots of fun! Let us know what you decide! Alicia
Count me in! just let me know how many. I also need directions. Can someone e-mail me? [email protected]. And Aubrey, if you want to participate I could offer my stamp pads, and stamp sets if I have the one you want to use. I'm used to them getting used by lots of people. ann marie

Thank you for your most generous offer! I really appreciate it! I'll think on it and get back to you.
I wasn't trying to be disparaging towards anyone who was coming. I just am very particular about the use of my supplies (I treat others supplies like my own) Unfortunately, not everyone takes that view, or doesn't know better.
Thanks again!

Hi Lynne!
So glad to know you that are coming!!
I am posting today for final call, and will let everyone know by Tuesday what the final count is.
I can't wait to meet everyone! Alicia
I just called my friend Karen, and she might come. She is on splitcoast as well...but isn't on much. So I called and told her....she is going to talk to her hubby tonight or tomorrow and see if she can make it. I still haven't gotten ahold of Rebecca yet....
I will let you know as soon as I find out Alicia....
Final count is 10 attendees! HOORAY!!
Please double check all the details in the first post of this thread. Make sure you PM me for directions....I will also give you my phone number so if the weather is dicey, you can call on Monday to see if we have to re-schedule.
Remember to make up a sample card (or non-card) for everyone to copy, with all the supplies and tools it will take for each person to re-create your sample. Cardstock and layers should be cut ahead of time so that it takes no longer than 10 minutes to complete each item.
Above all, plan to come and have a GREAT time!
Carrie and I are so excited to meet each of you!!
Just wanted to let you know what I was bringing for snacks! I just thought maybe it would be good if you know what you are bringing to share, so we don't have 11 pans of brownies!!! LOL
I am going to bring veggies and Ranch dip....we need something healthy to go with all those brownies you all are bringing right?
Can't wait to meet everyone...see you on Monday night..
