are the replacement bulbs for those lights Ott bulbs or are they ones that can be bought at say Lowe's? I have two True Spectrum lights one sits on my desk, the other a floor lamp, and these look like they might take up less room.

thanks in advance for the info.

I just got one. I like the fact that it can be either a torchiere pointing up or a task light pointing down, and that the base is wide and stable. I've always disliked the other ott-lite styles because i'd probably knock them over in an instant.

@ airborne wife, you can use a light from lowe's in these (15 watts) but the ott -lite bulbs are what makes them so nice.
