I went to the expo while it was held in Duluth, GA. Quickutz had an awesome deals at their booth. Lots of great booths from CTMH and Impression Obsession, Rusty Pickle had loads of shabby/chic goodies!! Have a good time. I did not attend the crop or classes but participated in the free make-n-takes out on the main floor.
I attend the Scrapbook Expo every year since I started scraping and I love to take the classes. I'm from San Diego so I usually go to that one but I moved to San Antonio recently and was able to do the one in Austin this past April. I'm making a trip back to San Diego next month to go to the expo there again though since it's bigger. It's in San Diego August 17th and 18th, love it!!
I didn't get a chance to participate in the make & take because there were so many ppl there. Does anyone know where I can find that mini luggage? I've searched online (i.e. google) but haven't been able to find it.
I am going to expo on friday. I can't wait. I love to see all the new papers and products that I can't live without!
There is also a paper crafting garage type sale in Bartlett on Saturday, if anyone is interested. It's on the corner of rt. 59 and Army trail rd in Bartlett, next to a small scrapbook store called Frozen Memories (they have awesome ice cream BTW). You can email me if anyone needs more info.
heard Chicago had as terrible storm, weren't sure if it was staraightline wind or tornado. What a great place to have a scrapbook expo, a resort.
Did everything pull off ok, inquiring minds want to know Carolyn

a lot of places are still without power, lots of flooding, down trees. It depends what area you are located in - some where hit harder than others. I know some people located near me (far SW burbs) are still with out power. Our sump pump died, and of course all places were closed at the time.
I'm sure lots of people are still cleaning up from the rain/wind.
