As some of you know, I was "collecting" hand-stamped items for a young girl named, Samantha that is fighting leukemia. There is a local benefit tomorrow (Sunday, April 23) and she is this year's recipent! Well...today on Channel 4 in Milwaukee, WI they mentioned on the morning show that SplitCoastStampers sent close to 1000 cards!!! Way to go!!! Thank you all so much that donated items to this benefit!!!

It was so great to see the community come together! Just in the actual voice auction they raised $2600! This doesn't include the other donations, silent auction, and miscellaneous raffles that were going on. The totals will be available later. I doubt that I will get a total of what was raised in just donations of stamped items because of all the items that were available. I will say I saw one woman who walked away with 3 about baskets of SCS cards!!
