Smile Thanks SCS

Well first I just wanna take this time to thank the SCS community and its founders, Daven and Tracy) for being here and continue to give us support and inspiration in our journey to creativity. Like many of you, stamping has been my way of stress therapy, and often times I come here to be inspired. I've also found digiscrapping.

I've been a member since 2004 but as you can see, I haven't been really chatty. For one I'm shy (seriously), but I'm also inundated with the everyday things that sometimes I don't even devote any time to myself. Well, in about two weeks that will about to change and I'm scared out of my mind as I don't know what I will do with myself now that a big chunk of my time will be void. Well, maybe for a day or two, then I'm sure I'll manage to muck it up again  . Finally, I will be done with my masters program. It's only taken me four years to complete, thank you very much! With a family and an illness and high-stress job, I reached a point where I just wanted to throw in the towel with school. But I stuck it out and SCS, whether you like it or not, was a big help...I love looking at your work, reading your blogs and just being inspired.

I hope to be more active and creating more...sorry so long but I just had to share this big milestone for me for which you've been a part.

Default thank you

Welcome to life without school (I wish I could say the same but I have a ways to go). Enjoy the accomplishment. It's well earned.

Now get stamping!!!

Another new phase of life is starting... finishing a degree is a big milestone. I've always enjoyed studying, school, but the deadlines were tough. It is nice to leave those behind. As you choose your next path, think of Robert Frost's poem about the road less traveled, choosing which path to take. Stampin Up is refreshing, Splitcoast Stampers super-I wish you happiness, peace, and health.

Way to go, Maria!!!! That is so awesome. So what if it took 4 years to get your Master's. You stuck with it and earned it. I am so proud of you....and I don't even know you. I admire anyone who puts that much time into school on top of a family.

Oh thank you, grammatroll. I'm very touched. Well, it was my way of giving back to myself, however "unfun" it was. It was also hard to pass up since the company I'm working for was putting up the bill, thanks to the IRS.
