This is a card I made for my sister's birthday- she is such a flower lover. Last year she wanted to take me for a ride around in the town she lives in, because she has to show me these georgeous homes. Well, they are not really anything special.... Finally, I realize we are not talking about the house, we are looking at the flowers surrounding the home!!! LOL
So, she should enjoy this!

Thank you so much for posting these sketch challenges...I just love them! I'm STILL getting over the flu today, so I had an excuse to sit and stamp for a while. Here is mine:

his is my third try at posting this- hope it only shows up once!!!
I made this for my sister's birthday. She loves flowers. Once, when I was visiting her, she wanted to drive around to show me some georgeous houses in her community. As we were driving, I was thinking, What is she thinking??? The houses were really not anything special. Finally it occurred to me we were going on a Garden Tour!!! I was supposed to be looking at flowers, not houses!!! LOL
Enjoy!

These challenges certainly give us some fun. I have combined the use of the TLC01 challenge technique with the format (loosely) of this week's sketch challenge. I also tried out the opalite smoosh background technique.

I don't think that I should have colored this and the linen thread (I have to put this on my next order) would have worked better than the gold cord.

Nice card! Are you going to use it for a M&T or as a demo? If you have DD gliiter it might be nice to add it to the candle flame.

Oh ya I did do that! I forgot since you can't really see glitter when you scan the pic. I think it will be one of my three make n takes at one of my workshops. I like it and it shows the canvas and Stipple Celebration.

Here is my version of Sketch 10. I also challenged myself to combine this with the technique challenge AND to challenge myself to not stamp on white paper. Here is the result:
