I took a few artistic liberties with this sketch. Hope that's okay.

I was working in my herb garden today, so I just had to pull out the "Sweet Herbs" set when stamping tonight.
Ok, now I'm off to go make a card that adheres more strictly to the sketch.

I missed last week' Challenge because I have company but I had a bit of time today so I got one card done for this week's sketch Challenge. I hope to have some more time to play with this great sketch later though.
Here is the one I made today:

Here's my "unliberated" card that more closely follows the sketch. I feel like it's "missing" something but I'm calling it done.

I wish the scanner did a better job on showing the shimmery pearl ex on the dragonfly. I used a mix of "misty lavender" and "spring green". IRL it really catches the light and shimmers!
I've been wanting to do one of those window thingies for awhile - I'm glad someone gave me the tip to moisten the paper first.

Ok, I finally found some inspiration from this sketch. I had to do an RAK for a little girl and needed a good layout. I already had some Acetate and Tissue done, so I whipped this up. It really is the same color as the background paper, but the scanner caught the pearlex shimmer and made it gray :( I will add it to the TLC challenge too.

Here's my card:
Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
I've been thinking about this card all week and just couldn't find the right (for me) stamp set to use. I got this set today and it's perfect - one long vertical stamp and one long horizontal stamp.
Thanks for these challenges, I'm having so much fun!!

I finally got a chance to make a card! Yayyyy!! This layout was troublesome for me...I had a major block on it, so as you will see, I follow the layout pretty much to a tee!

I tried to do one more last night. It fought me all the way and in the end isn't quite the sketch. After all the fussing with it and trying 4 or 5 different things for the horizontal piece I ended up chucking that piece all together. So I named it "SC12 Sort of"
