Oooooooo...this is a great sketch (as always). I had some extra time today to play. I may have to make some more of this one...this sketch goes together really quickly! Here's what I came up with...

I'm fairly new to the site, so this might be a silly question, but I'm going to ask it anyways. Is it safe to assume that all sketch challenges (and color ones for that matter) can only be made w/all SU embellishments? I have stamp sets and ink pads & paper, but just not many embellishments other that. That's why I haven't joined many swaps unless they are NVR. Also, what's the due date? A month from the post? Thanks for the help! I appreciate it.

You can use WHATEVER you want in these sketch challenges. Doesn't matter what kind of stamps, paper or embellishments that you use.
This also isn't a typical swap. Meaning there is no due date, you can do these whenever you have time. Andreasophie does post a new challenge every Wed night though. Also, you don't have to mail your creations anywhere. If you have access to a scanner or camera feel free to upload your work of art into your gallery and post a link so we can all check it out Have fun!!
crittercare - they are open to anyone, with any supplies, unless they specifically say only certain supplies. these challenges get posted weekly, so you can do them any time, but within a week is what most shoot for.
post a link here so that everyone can see what you have done, and don't forget to put the right initials in your description for those who are searching right in the gallery. (i.e. sketch challenge 13 should have SC13 in the key words.)

Ok, guys this was such an easy card to make. I made my own background paper using the stamp set. My first attempt was so hard for me and this one was made in less than 5 minutes, go figure...

Sometimes the pages get messed up on a thread. the posts are there, but the system doesn't recognize that there is a page. So you were reading page 4 and it said page 4 of 4 so your post appeared to be missing. It was actually there but on page 5 ...page 5 of 4. When you posted a reply again that showed you page 5 where your other post already was. Does that make any sense???

I don't know if it's because my headcold is finally getting better and I could actually concentrate for more than 1 minute at a time, but this challenge was a fun and productive one for me! I have three cards for the challenge!! Yaaay!
Here is my card for the SC13. I didnt know what to do with my card after I scanned it and sent it in.. I wasnt sure what the rules were either for doing these, as I couldnt find any infor and I did a search. I am glad this thread popped up. This was fun. I woke up Saturday morning thinking about what I would do for a card.

I'm fairly new to this website and this is the first challenge thread that I've paid close attention to. I followed all the links to view your cards and I am in awe. I just wanted to say that the talent you ladies have shared is amazing! Consider this a standing ovation!
My new goal is to finish cleaning up my stamping area enough that I can play next week.
