Here is my take on the challenge. I love this sketch! It was so much fun. I combined it with the technique challenge. For that challenge I used Silver EP. I love doing the snowflakes with the Silver EP so my card is snowflakes. Sorry, I know it is out season for snowflakes but here is my card anyway. This was my first sketch challenge. Oh so much fun! Well, it isn't exactly like the sketch challenge but I think it will qualify. I just got around to doing a hot card from the TLC12 so I thought I would make it into a SC23 as well. It was really fun playing with some new stuff I got as well.
OK, made four more yesterday...I'm on a roll and have more ideas to work on! This sketch is just so versitile, especially with stamp sets that have coordinating wheels.
OK, I know these four are quite similar, but I love my Fishy Friends and wanted to try out different colors. I just made the embelishments a bit unique for each card. And I make no apologies about them!
Here's h and i! This time I used a Halloween theme so I could try out some ribbon I bought last year. Next I may go with Christmas, though I don't have any ribbon for it, just more ideas.
Oh, so many ideas for this sketch. At this rate, I just may get through most of the alphabet by the end of the weekend! Glad I have Sunday off...
Hi There!
Can some one help this computer disabled person on how to link cards from ones gallery to here. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

I just pasted this response in from another thread where I originally answered someone else. Sorry about the BOLD - that came from searching and I can't get rid of it. HTH.
To add a link:
Go to your gallery and click on the card you want to link -
Once you have the card on your screen go to the address bar at the top of your screen and highlight the address by clicking on it.
Then click on Edit at the top of your tool bar and you will get a pull down menu - click on copy.
Now type in your post in the thread and click on Edit again and this time select "paste" and there's your link.
Sorry if my explanation is too simplistic. When I first learned how to do it I needed it broken down step by step
this is the way I put my card into my post. Bring up your gallery......doesn't make any difference if the card has been approved yet or not. You don't have to actually go to the page where the card is. Right click your mouse on the image or the 'image not approved' message. Select the words "copy Shortcut". Voila, your address is ready to put in your message. When you are typing your message and are ready to insert your address, hit Ctl then 'V' on your keyboard and it will be copied into you text. Simple!!

Wow talk about a slick layout - This was so easy to do, even though I hestitated at first I'm glad I gave it a try. Will definitely use it more in the near future. Thanks for another great idea. Gallery at Splitcoaststampers Gallery at Splitcoaststampers

here is another try...not very happy...that's what happens when I don't us SU paper...it is still pending, but I am off to church and wanted to get it posted so I wouldn't forget later. I would be delighted to receive suggestions...then I can tear it apart and repost... Have a happy Sunday...Rebecca
Rebecca - you said you weren't very happy with your card and would like feedback - I think it's lovely. Perhaps you would like it better with some sort of BG stamped on the yellow...maybe French Script or Canvas or some very soft leaves or flowers...maybe in versamark or summer sun or barely banana (depending on the color of the CS). Or maybe just make it shabby style with some dtp and curling up the edges of some of the layers? I think it's a really nice card and maybe just needs a little finishing touch.

Jami, you have the nicest things to say...I had used canvas on the original, but the ink looked too strong...I like the idea of the leaves (I have lovely as a tree) done in a soft colour...back to the drawing board...Rebecca

I'm finally getting some time to play today. Here's one for this challenge and the color challenge this week. I took a small liberty with the sketch by cutting out my main butterfly image.
