This is the first time I've done a sketch challenge and it was FUN! It made me think outside the box...and go in search of a stamp set that would work! Thanks, Andrea! Here is my card: Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
Here's my variation on Sketch Challenge 24. I'm hoping it's close enough to count.............I didn't want them in a straight row so I varied the flowers. Gallery at Splitcoaststampers

My dh is an electrical engineer. He won't let me plug anything in because I'm not a trained professional. Glad your dh is OK, Andrea. I'm not sure if this card really fits this challenge, but it does have 3 verticals in it.
I can't wait to try this! This is the cutest sketch challenge YET! Hope I have time to post it before the week is out, but I have what I think will be a good idea!
I'm trying to whip out some birthday cards, thank you notes to customers/hostesses, etc. before heading out on vacation. Here's 4 that fit this sketch, although I did turn one of them sideways! One also fits the color challenge for this week. Another also fits the Ways to Use (background stamps) challenge.
My card is a loose interpretation of the sketch challenge, made for a friend of the family who is graduation tomorrow. Nothing like waiting until the last minute!

Here's one from me. I still want to play more, though, so maybe I'll do another one this weekend! Everyone's cards have been fantastic on this challenge!
yeah- I did one but had not seen the challenge yet-I liked the layout in a magazine and used that. So not made for the challenge, but fits in!Sketch Challenge 24 Card

I like this sketch Andrea. Everyones cards look great. Here is one I made for DH for fathers day. He is an avid steelhead fisherman. I don't know if these really look like steelhead. Oh well!!
Thanks you very much to all the ladies for the great inspiration, I can't wait for Wed's. I know today is Thursday, but you know how time gets away from us.
Ok I have been lurking on the challenge pages forever now so I got in gear and made a card today. I am excited and I can't wait to go back and do all the other ones. Ross has a bday coming up so I made this for him! Thanks for the motivations!
One more using a retiring Set I HAD to buy before it disappeared. I figure as long as I'm on the inside and he's on the outside, it would be cool to imagine this!
How do you participate in these??? Who creates them to start it off??
Sorry for being such a newbie!
To participate just make a card based on the layout sketch in the Original Post of this thread. Then, if you can, upload the card to your gallery. In the keyword section put SC24. Then come back and post a link to your card in this thread. There is a new sketch every Wednesday. The sketch Challenge is hosted by AndreaSophie each week. She finds an inpiration card in the gallery and creates a layout sketch from it.
There are also other challenges on other days. On Fridays I host the Limited Supply Challenge - would love to have you join. There are also the Technique Lover's Challenge, the Ways to Use It Challenge, the Color Combo Challenge. Check out all the challenge threads. We absolutely love to have newbies join in.
You can post questions on amy thread if you're not sure how the challenge works. HTH. Come play!
This is my first attempt at the challenge and I had not looked at anybody else's stuff and low and behold I have seen several cards using this same set. I am sorry, I should have looked in the gallery first. At least I put a different twist on it and the arrangement. So sorry, I will try to apologize individually...
Fun challenge, gotta do more after I run my errands if I can find the right set to use. Thanks Andrea for a great challenge...
Pinky - you have absolutley NOTHING to feel bad about or apologize for!!! I have a personal rule for myself that I never look at anyone's else sketch creations until I have uploaded at least one. That way I can do what I want and not be influenced if that makes sense! With a sketch like this it's highly likely that lots of people will use some of the same sets. No worries!!! Keep playing and having fun!!!!
