Roxie, you've done a fabulous job with the challenge and you will be missed! I loved your thorough explanations and measurements for the sketches which were great week after week. But you know what was the MOST amazing? Your awesome samples!
I applaud you for making the hard choice to step down now and look forward to seeing your lovely work here at SCS.
Oh, my Goodness! This is hard to believe. I always look so forward to seeing your wonderful sketch - in color AND plain so I can choose. Your perfection in making the sketch is always impressive to me and makes my card making so much easier. I always love that I get it emailed to me. I love your explanations and measurements and just EVERYTHING about the way you do the sketch. I even appreciate that you have already looked into new hostesses and their training. You are special. You have been my Wed morning icon. I will always be happy to see your face on SCS. ...and I will be back later to do today's sketch. Thanks so much for all you have done.
Well Rox I have been a member of SCS for several years but really just got involved in the challenges about a year and a half ago. This is one of my favorites. I know this has been work but I'm sure it was fun work. You have come up with many wonderful sketches. I go to them often when I get stuck and they always help my mojo to return. Thanks for all you've done and I know you have left us in great hands!

I hope I can carry on your amazing legacy!! I'm so excited to be hosting, along with Korin and Holly I'm so honored you asked me to be a part of the challenge!
Sketch challenge was the first thing I participated in at SCS and you were ever so helpful Roxie!! Thanks for all the challenges throughout the years! We'll miss you, but you have left us in very capable hands!! So happy that you're doing more things that make you happy, and we'll see you in the galleries.

Roxie, can you tell how much you are loved and appreciated, my friend? So many have already written exactly how I feel, so I'll be brief, but know I echo their heartfelt sentiments. When I joined SCS in 2005, I, like many others, looked forward to the weekly sketch challenges you gave us. How you managed to come up with sooooo many different sketches in your six-year stretch is truly amazing to me. I always appreciated your tips/tricks in your write ups....especially the measurements you used. I'm glad you'll still be around SCS sharing your beautiful creations with us, though! Don't ever leave us totally, okay? And, know that I'm praying for your health and that those dastardly migraines will go away. Enjoy those special times with your friends, too.
Thank you to the very talented Korin, Taylor, and Holly for stepping up to the plate with the sketch challenges! I look forward to what you have in store for us!!!

Oh, and one more thing I have to tell you, Roxie. When I was still working, there were many a Wednesdays I got up an hour earlier just so I could participate in the sketch challenge before work!!! Thankfully, I never lost my job for being late to work a few times----ha! ha!
Roxie,
Thanks so much for all the time and effort you've put into the challenges over the last 6 years. Certainly you deserve a break, and I'm sure you've trained your replacements well. We will look forward to seeing you in the galleries when you're just doing it for fun.

Lol................Me too Charlene, but it was more staying up late to work on a card and then rolling out of bed sleepy eyed!!!! ................It's hard to believe that it's been 6 years~
Roxie, you are loved, my friend. We are so blessed to have enjoyed your sketches over the years and I echo what so many of the ladies have said....your challenge has always been my favorite and your sketches have helped me countless times when I needed that extra push. I am honored and humbled to have been asked to help carry on your legacy (as Taylor so aptly put it). Taylor, Holly and I will do our very best to make you proud.
Wow Roxie! so sorry to see you go - but totally understand the time comes to move on to different exciting things! Thank you SO MUCH for all that you've given us here on the sketch challenge - and for leaving us in very capable hands with the new hostesses - Taylor, Holly and Korin....

A big thank you Roxie for all the years of being a challenge hostess. I too learned a lot from you with all the tips and ideas. I love your beautiful work. Hope you find relief from these migraines soon. Wish you the best for 2012
Thanks so much, Roxie, for all you've done here! Your sketch challenge was and is my fave, even though lately I haven't been able to play in them as much.
You've been such an inspiration and your work is always gorgeous. I know the 3 wonderful people who will take over will do a terrific job, but it still won't seem the same w/o you.
Take care and I hope to see you in the challenges!
Roxie, a big THANKS for all your years of dedication to hosting the SC! I've loved this challenge and always looked forward to seeing your talented creations! I wish you only the best! Here's a hug via my card...YOU'RE SPECIAL.

I started using the challenges this year, and I have to say that the sketch challenges are my favorites! They've pushed me to create cards in ways I never would have thought of! Roxie, I've always admired your work. You are a perfectionist and it really shows in all that you do! I've enjoyed reading what you do with your cards, as you're so explicit, and it helps me so much. So I want to say a big THANK YOU for all that you've done for me. Blessings to you, friend. You will be missed, Roxie! I look forward to the sketch challenge each week (which is my favorite). I hope we will still see your work on SCS! Take care.
You've done an amazing job over the past six years, Roxie. I used to wait with baited breath for Wednesday as I was sketched challenged and it was always fun to have a layout to work with. Believe you had just started this position when I joined SCS and you have provided many amazing sketches and samples. Wishing you all the best as you move on to new ventures.
Korin, Holly and Taylor, know you'll do a great job

Roxie, so sad to see you go. I look forward to the sketch challenges every week. Even though I don't play along every week, I still copy them into my SCS "Card Sketch Book". I'm going back and copying all the old ones I missed before I joined SCS. Enjoy your free time and I look forward to seeing your submissions for the new challenges. Take care.
Roxie: Thank you for providing us this sketch challenge!
I flipped the format around to fit my embossed numbers panel- and added a thanks message (TLC357) as I need more thank you cards. Here is Gilded Thanks

A huge "thank you", Roxie, for all the many sketches you have compiled for us to play with. The sketches have always been my favorite challenge and I love to play whenever I can fit it into my day. I so appreciate all you have given to bring this to us week after week for so long! Enjoy your new endeavors!

Wow, I just glanced at the sketch this morning before breakfast and didn't read the whole post - and then wondered how there were so many posts to the thread!!
I'd like to add my thanks and gratitude to that which has already been expressed - I really struggled with sketch challenges when I first started playing along with these, and have really enjoyed the challenge and the learning process. Even that joke April Fool's day sketch was fun to try out .
Sure do hope your migraines improve soon.
Thanks to those new hostesses volunteering their time and talent.
My dear friend Roxie.......how can I thank you enough for encouraging and inspiring me to cretet outside my comfort zone! You are easily one of the very most dedicated and creative SCS stampers we have, but we will all understand your need to move on. We will look forward to your gorgeous creations (for the fun of it) and wish you a very happy, healthy and creative New Year. Your the best......your friend always, Nancy
It's so hard to believe that it's been six years! Because of your efforts my card making has gone from bland to noteworthy to my family and friends. May God bless you in what ever you chose to do next. Take care of yourself!!

Hi, so this is my very first challenge and first time putting a card out into the world. (Anyone else feeling a bit light headed?) I hope I'm posting the link and such correctly. I'm very new at all of this.
Like I said, I'm new here so I don't know Roxie, but from all the comments I can see that she is someone who is much loved by the community here. I wish her all the best and am a bit sad that I won't get the chance to know her.
Roxie, you have been such a wonderful source of inspiration. Your challenges have been amazing and have always made us stretch and try things we never would have done on our own. You have given 6 years of awesome challenges and have shared your wealth of card making knowledge so freely. You are amazing and will be sorely missed. Thank you for providing 3 talented ladies to lead us on and thank you for your 6 years of dedicated time and talents.
Hugs,
Faith
