Thanks Andrea for the helpful hint about putting the CS together and then cutting the curve. Even with that I had to figure it out 1st with scratch paper. I combined with this weeks CC. Thanks for your great challenges. Nancy Pending as of 10:15 a.m. PST.
Here's two I did while trying to figure out a Team Swap card for tonight. I ended up not using either one of these, but I still like 'em. One also fits the color challenge for this week. Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
I love this sketch!!! These colors are an example of what happens on a snowy New England day when a bored stamper looks at the Color Caddy for the first time! Take it away before I hurt myself!!!
Okay I have one done, took me forever to get it uploaded, I swear (even though I shouldn't) this site hates me on most days, can't upload, won't show me card photos in the gallery, won't let me post...sigh! But here's my card... Right here!
As I mentioned in my thumbnail I have viewed all 54 weeks but this is the first time I have posted in this challenge. Here goes! Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
here's my first one.....hope to do more over the weekend.....haven't used my CM cutter for ages.....always nice when we find new uses for out old supplies....
thanks for sharing everyone.....I can't tell you how much Splitcoast has revitalized my stamping "therapy" sessions......thanks everyone for the encouraging words and fantastic ideas
This is my first sketch challenge-inspired card ever! I didn't meet the criteria exactly (no square for my image, but it was definitely my jumping off point so I wanted to give some credit! Thanks for the inspiration!!

Between home renovations this fall, and Christmas, I haven't had much time to play. I had alot of fun with this sketch challange...thanks Andrea and Yvette.

Here's mine. It's funny, I made this last night, and when I posted it, I said how there hadn't been a sunny day here for the last 2 weeks. Well, this morning is a beautiful sunny day!
I really had to think about this one to make sure my stamp would work with the curve and to get the papers to the right size etc (ie no overlapping)
The best thing about this card though is that I got the shoe/bag stamp FREE from my local craft shop today - some kind of DoCrafts (think that is Anitas stateside) promotion - hurrah say I \o/
I finally found my way back to my craft room, after the holidays! ;-) LOL! What a great challenge this was! I was excited to "re-discover" some of my lesser-used sets on it!
I have two more I'll post tomorrow. My scanner is making the white paper wash everything else out, so I have to do these the "long" way (with my digital camera).
Here are the other two cards I made last night. On the birthday card I set the "picture" part on-point. That was mostly because on-point was the only way to punch the image & still have it look good.
I love the way all the cards have turned out with the sketch! I am enjoying the results of everyone's creativity!
Gosh! I'm so glad I finally found some time to do this sc. I love it! It is so much fun and the outcome is so rewarding. Way to go to Yvett for doing it first and to Andrea for using this one. Thanks for all of your time and effort in coming up with new challenges for us each week!
Ok, so it took me a while to get this up on the Challenge thread... had to take two boys to the movies... it was fun. My second challenge ever... hope you all like it.
Looks like I'm not the only one to make joining the Sketch Challenge a New Years resolution. The more the merrier. I had stamped and colored the fish from Oriental Brushstrokes months ago, then couldn't decide how to use it. Here it is:
