:p My upload disappeared..That makes me so sad, because wonderful people took the time to comment on it and now it is lost in cyberspace...Oh well!
Better luck this time.
Please take a look...the frogs are a new addition to my stamp family and they "TOAD-ally" crack me up!!!
OH no!!! I told you along with my card I lost my head...It's STILL Sunday....Please forgive me!!!! Sorry to upload..I just spaced it when I saw my pic missing..Begging for forgiveness.:(
Ok, I finally had a chance to stamp and had to try this sketch. I love the sketch but my card turned out way too busy. Oh well, I'll just have to try the sketch again.
This is the 1st challenge I've done in awhile. I haven't had much time to stamp lately. This card didn't turn out quite the way I wanted it to, but I still like it okay.
Okay, so my original with red, white, and blue card that was used as an example wasn't my absolute favorite card, but I did really like the layout. So now that I actually own SU! c/s, I had to use my favorites - certainly celery, bashful blue, and barely banana, and then my new stamp set arrived on Saturday, and well, here you go...
After nearly a year and a half I've created my first card for an SCS challenge. I LOVE this layout. I don't know how to make a 'short-cut' link to my card, so here's the url to click on. -Mary

I have totally struggled with the last 2 sketches. Today I decided that if I could beat cancer, I could beat a creative block....and I beat it not once, but twice.

Here's another one. I combined this challenge with Emily's new color challenge. I don't know why I waited so long to start doing these darn things - maybe VSN will be next - never done that either!

Better late than never? Not necessarily in this case! LOL I combined this with the Color Challenge *CC78* Thanks Rox... great sketch... wish I would have put more thought into it tho. :(
Here is my feeble attempt at the awesome card by My Minx: Gallery at Splitcoaststampers

I personally think all these challenges are directly responsible for improving my stamping. THANKS to all who play!
I love this site so much. Making a big family meal for my FIL for his 65th BDay *today* and of course am only getting to making the card today too. SCS to the rescue!!! I used this sketch challenge and tossed the card together in record time (way faster than supper, LOL!). Here is my link (better late than never, one day I'll have at least 1 card for each of these awesome sketch ideas).
ETA--I decided to add antique copper eyelets after I uploaded. I think it helps bring out the close to cocoa in the trunks of the trees. I put the eyelets in the corners of the trees section.
