I have been trying to find this image a layout for months - she was just so skinny (wish I had that problem) that I would get frustrated and put her away. Thanks Roxie for finally helping me transform her into a card! When I saw the Sketch challenge I new I had the perfect image all ready to go just had to get home and put everything together! I think the ribbon are a little much - but maybe someone can use the idea on a different type of card...

I just needed to do another one. I bought this image at a local stamp convention and have only used it once. Brings back memories of childhood. Here's my

Well I see that others thought of this stamp set for this challenge as well.
Here's my take on this week's challenge:
Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
I thought that I would also include this card that I did for the Labour Day Challenge - part of the OSW. I think it fits in to this weeks challenge (or at least I hope it does).

Thanks........Nancy

It took me forever to get my ideas together. But I was pleased when I finished. This is a great sketch.

My scanner always scans way too dark, and when I lighten it up on my computer, it washes out the watercolored image...can't win. Anyway, this looks better IRL.

I love the sketch challenges soooo much!! Thanks Roxie! Usually I look at everyone elses cards and then get all freaked out because I can't get anything to look so good -- so, tonight I did my challenge before looking at anyone elses!! It allowed me to just have fun but now that I see all the awesome cards, mine is so simple and plain!! Well, it was fun anyway!!

I was out-of-town for 2 weeks, visiting family in FLorida and just got all of my stuff put away in my stamp room and decided to 'play' tonight. I tried the TLC81--Soot Stamping (first time I've done this technique) and the Sketch Challenge together...Now that it is scanned, I'm not so sure it looks all that great, but it will have to do...I have family coming in Friday, so I have to get the cleaning done now. Thanks Roxie, for a fun challenge, I may try it again later.

This is such a great sketch. I have wanted to make a comment about every single upload.
I combined the sketch with the color challenge. I borrowed the heart flower idea from the catalog. Thanks for looking!
