Wow! Am I the last to post? I guess I need to tear myself from watching Tim Russert with his little wipe board and get to work!
Great sketch, Roxie! And I really appreciate the effort you make to comment on all the cards. As one of the "little people," it's always a treat to see some of the "stars" of this site leave a comment. But I also understand you also have a life outside SCS (although, if you're like me since I discovered this site, a more abbreviated one). You're doing a great job!
Great - I had time to get a card finished this morning, and sort of combined with this week's color challenge also. I am happy when I have supplies to do these challenges.
Here it is: Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
Great sketch, Roxie. I looked at it last night, but was just too tired to even print it out to take down to my work table. Really slept late this morning and see that half the challenge junkies already have theirs done! LOL. Will have to see what I can do with it. I haven't gotten to any of the challenges yet this week. But I did get to stamp with my little sis (DSS) on Monday! What fun!
you know what roxie... i think everyone notices, and appreciates, that you comment on EVERY entry. i don't know of many challenge hosts that do that, so it's NICE, but don't kill yourself.
I agree! It makes my day that a great stamper like you would comment on my stuff-I appreciate that. But I would not want to be responsible for you going crazy sitting there commenting all day!
that's not Pluto--that's Goofy!! Great card, and I love those papers
Too funny, it was late, I was tried and I'm still tired after sitting for a homesick kitty that cried all night!
Thanks everyone for understanding about the comments, you're all the best! I enjoy getting the sketches ready each week.
As for me being the only hostess as Tobi mentioned that comments, I'm not sure of that but I am sure that I'm the only one with the children grown so it gives me more time. Children and husbands come first!
Beth/My Precious...you have three cards done for the challenge so we'll give you break since you're painting...we can't have you over come with fumes!
Thanks for the great examples!
Here are my 2. This is my first challenge and I really enjoyed it. These cards are similar but I needed two baby cards, both for girls. Thanks for the great challenge Roxi!! I always look and think about doing the challenges, but I think now I will participate more often.
Yippee! I'm home with a sick DD (not too sick - just irritable from teething) and while she's napping I get to stamp!! Even though I told my boss I'd be working from home...
Great sketch Roxie. Thanks for all your hard work, you're the greatest.
I just got this set yesterday, went to my demo's and picked up my order and we did three cards. Lots of fun, and we did lots of distressing, so I thought I'd do some on my card. Hope you like it, -- thanks for looking. --
I'm losing my mojo. I think I might put up all my stamps and stuff for a couple of days to cleanse my mind. You'll see what I mean when you check these out:
This was a great sketch!! Thanks so much Rox for everything you do around here to keep us motivated!! And I surely appreciate your comments all the time!!
Well, I uploaded a while ago, but it's still pending. Hope it comes up soon!
Here is my first one for today. Will try to do another one later on today. Rox thanks for hosting this every week. We really appreciate all that you do...
I have been sick all week with the flu, but had to give this a try. In my scan it shows some red on the tree but there isen't any. Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
Thanks Roxie!!
Thanks for the challenge, Roxie. Sorry for the technical difficulties this morning, I know your pain as I have had other technical difficulties! My sleeve kept getting caught in my cutter and it took me forever to get things the way I wanted them. My camera wasn't very forgiving either, so sorry for the blurry picture! Boy I sound like a whiner!
