I'm in! For the past two years I have been very late with my cards. 2007 will be different!!!!!!!!!!!! I love rhondag's photo card, and will CASE that for the close family on my list. Thanks rhondag. And thanks alliesmem.
OK - first post, first challenge... Hope this works. I love this site and would love to get an early start on XMas for next year as I ended up doing my sisters cards this year as well. (Not that I minded the extra stamping
Sign me up -- has to be better than my effort last year --- LOL
Well, I signed up last year and, shall we say, was less than successful. I think I'm more determined this year, after just living through the nightmare of not all my cards getting made.
I was a big disappointment to myself, so turning the corner and trying again.
Oh I need to join this year!! I want to get everything made and addressed each month. My Christmas card list isn't very long but I plan on making BDay, Thank You & Blank cards once all my Christmas cards are done. I figure this way I will have a little stash for an emergency.
Boy, I can't go to sleep anymore because when I wake up a whole bunch more of you have signed up!
It starts January 1st. I think that I will make a new Thread each month for people to post to. The first one to post wins the prize for the month.
There will be no specific challenges, unless we think there should be? I don't know, suggestions anyone????????? I am open for anything that you all would like to do.
Yes, once your holiday cards are complete, you are welcome to continue on with other types of cards. No sense making a hundred Christmas cards if you aren't going to use them.
Have a nice day everyone.
Newcomers, you will probably be getting a PM from me this evening, once I get home from work.

Okay - Sign me up! One of my New Year's Resolutions is to not be so jammed with stuff to do in December - and this is my first step! I'll do 10 per month all the way through November. Thanks for hosting!
OK... I am SOOO in need of this. I totally flaked this year and sent only family cards, even though I had more made, I just didn't have time to address them all. :( DH wants to send a New Year's letter to those who didn't get cards - which means more stress for me in January! ACK!
SO... I am in! I don't wanna feel bad about my procrastination again next year. I'll make 10-12 cards per month Jan-Nov. That should give me planty of cards!
PM me and let me know what you need form me info-wise and also where to send goodies for prizes!
Thanks!
Trish

I'm going to have to drop out of this challenge. I just got word on how busy my schedule is going to be for the first few months of 2007.
Please remove me from the list. Thanks!
Can I join too? Please add me to the list for this challenge. I so need to have less stress at the holidays! I would like to sign up for January thru November - 10 cards each month. I think I'm going to make all of the same card with pictures of my kiddos on the front - so I'll be saving the picture part until the end. But would like to be able to have them all stamped and envelopes addressed by November!
Also, I haven't quite figured out how to upload photos on here since I am new, so that will also be a new goal for me!
I thought and I thought and decided...this is something I need to do! Please sign me up, January - November. And, I now have an *excuse* to buy some more Christmas stamp sets all year long!!!
Well.....this was a goal I set for myself anyway, so anything that will help me get motivated is just what I need. Sign me up and I wish everyone well in meeting their goal. I will go for the whole year, as I don't mind having extras and will probably need holiday thank yous as well. I assume these can be included too?????? Looking forward to hearing it is a go.........

Sorry to hear that you have to drop out. I hope all works out well for you with your busy schedule. If at any time during the year you decide to join in again, just let me know.
Sign me up. I did it in 2006 and fell off the wagon once summer arrived. Doing 2 Stamp a stacks in November (40 cards total) was the only thing that saved me from having to buy cards. Promise to do better this year. Already bought some holiday stamps for 50% off this week that I plan to use.

Hi all, Lisa, last years' coordinator was not able to host this challenge so I have decided to help out and keep the challenge going. I hope I can come close to the great job she did!
So to anyone interested:
Join the Holiday 2007 Monthly Challenge!!!!
This year's challenge was a big success! Thanks to everyone who participated.
All you have to do is complete 10 Christmas cards every month up to and including November and you should have plenty of cards to send out for the holidays!!
You can join anytime during the year. Just let me know what month you want to start and what month you will be finished (depending on the number you need to make). The idea is NOT to stress. If you need to skip a month or two, that is perfectly fine. Remember, the whole idea behind this challenge is to make life easier. Trust me, I know how busy December can be, why not try to get one project, your holiday cards, all done by the end of November!
Make your cards any way you like - make 100 of the same card 10 at a time or make a different set of 10 each month or make each card completely different and unique. You decide, these are your cards. They should be how you want them to be. Just post to this thread to let me know you want in. Then each month when you complete your 10 cards, upload your photos (use CC in the title) and post a message to this thread.
As in incentive, There will be a small prize to the person who completes their cards first EACH MONTH. For each month you complete (before the end of the following month), your name will be put in a drawing for the "year end prize basket.
If you'd like to donate stuff for prizes (small items you may have laying around, SU! or non-SU, even stuff you have made), I would really appreciate the help. Postage stamps would also be a great help. This is not a requirement to join this challenge.
PLEASE NOTE - THIS IS NOT A SWAP!!!!
I'm new to the group and this is a challenge I would love to try, I just need to know if all the cards have to be made with SU stamps/stuff? If not I'd love to join in, thanks.....
regards, Valerie

No, they do not need to be SU stuff. This is just for your benefit to keep you on track with your cards for next year so Christmas won't be so stressful! I did this this year and it was a tremendous help!

Yes, Valerie, this challenge is more for your benefit than anything. We at SCS just like to make things a little more interesting by adding prizes! And you will get so much inspriation from the other cards that you see. There are so many talented people that are in this group, it is amazing!
So you are going to love joining in, I can almost guarantee it.
Hey Martha, welcome. I didn't even think about going to get 50% off holiday stamps and supplies! :( I better get to Michael's tomorrow! Hopefully there is still stuff left.
After the headache of cramming my personal Christmas cards in around the 3 seperate stamp-a-stack-of-christmas-cards classes I did this year...this sounds like my idea of heaven! I am SOOO in!!!
Well.....this is my first post to the website and I hope I'm doing it right. I will also have to learn how to upload the cards I make but I want to participate in the challenge from January - November. Maybe when I get the first ones done someone can coach me on how to upload and where??
Good Afternoon - I'm in as well. I didn't even make my own cards this year, as I was so incredibly stressed with everything else going on. My plan for 2007 was to do exactly what this challenge is all about -- thanks!
