It is wonderful to hear that we have produced another stampaholic. I don't buy any of my cards either. Isn't it great to have a hobby that not only makes us happy, but others as well?!

We sure are getting lots of new comers this year! It is great! You will all be so happy that you decided to take on this challenge!
We will start in January! So if you are the first to post in January a lttle prize pack will be yours!
I will try to have a thread already started for January so that there won't be any confusion about where to post. I will set that up as we get closer to the end of the year and I will put the link in this thread.
Again, good luck to everyone who is going to participate. And remember, this challenge is all about making the holiday season less stressful!
Are there any rules as to what we use or can do or not do?

No rules, it is whatever you need for your cards. The only rule, to get credit for the month you need to post your card on the Thread set up for that month.
I want to join too! I like the idea of sending the extras overseas. I am sure I will do that too.You guys are the BEST enablers! I love ya all. OK, no more coffee for me.
Please sign me up for another year too! I am so grateful to have a whole box full of cards that were done before Thanksgiving this year! This past year I also challenged myself to put a little extra money away along with the x-mas cards that I was making each month. And I am also proud to say that I had all of my children's x-mas gifts bought and safely hidden by Thanksgiving this year. This has been such a life saver for me, and a wonderful stress reliever also! Thank you so much for changing our holiday season and making it so much better!
I'm joining in too, cause I'm so jealous of all of the ladies who said they are done! I'm still making mine and I hate that I do this to myself every year. This way I hope I will use the many Christmas/holiday stamps I own! I can use a different set each month! I think I'm going to get my girlfriends involved, too, so we can stamp and swap sets together! Thanks for doing this!

LOL!!
 Somehow I missed the point!! I didn't start until November...ugh! Even so, I have more done by this time than ever (I've only made cards 3 other years.) I should do much better in 2008!
I have posted to individual month threads. Am I supposed to post my cards here too?

This sounds like a great way to get my cards done, Its Dec and I am still making mine that I should be sending out. I would love to join. I will be pm'ing you my address, thanks so much for organizing it.
Although I'm just getting into stamping and whatnot and most of my cards look like my 4 year old niece made them...I'd like to join as well provided you'll have me.
Ps. To Berlycece: You only need to post on the month that the cards are for.
Thanks for the info! I'll sign up for March through November again. Gotta give myself a little break from now until then! I will try harder because the prizes are probably pretty cool! And I see I have to post them before the end of the following month...gotta break some old habits!!

So its possible to do these before the end of November? I'm still working on finishing this year's cards. I'll start in January and then maybe I can actually send them the beginning of December. It will also help to get those early ideas.

We've all got to start some place! Check out the weekly challenges! They're great for ideas or sketches - I love them! They give me all sorts of ideas!
And I bet you're better than you think - we're all our own worst critic!!

okay so, if you make like 2 or 3 of the same design then your posts links to each card design for that month you upload them all after you have ten done right?
I'm probably making this more complicated in my mind then it really is but, ah well. thats life.

That is the easiest way, although a few have posted a couple of times for each month. I am pretty easy going with the rules, I just want everyone to have a stress free holiday season!
I'm definitely in...This is my first challenge...How exciting!!
Congratulations on the beginning of an obsession! You will see, once you start, you can't stop!
Try to post a few more times to this thread or others because I think you have to have a certain amount of threads before the website will let you upload a card.
Holiday card challenge, I like that, include me in, maybe I will get better organized to think ahead for the monthly challenge

I know I get great inspiration from everyone who posts here!
Good luck to everyone who has signed up! You will be amazed at how easy it is to get ahead of the holidays, just be getting your cards done!!

I am so bloody sick of the 80 all-the-same cards that I am making this year that I could scream! It would be a welcome relief to a. only make 10 a month and b. make different ones so I don't lose my mind!
I'm in!

I just saw this thread recommended on another "thread," so I jumped right over here. I've been so busy with other swaps, among a million other things, that I don't have the FIRST card done. And we're not even putting up a Christmas tree this year! So this will be great incentive. I like the idea of gift tags too - and don't forget that the 3 x 3's make really cute little gift tags! It's also nice to have a generic "snowflake" type card that just says "Happy Holidays" and then be used for Christmas OR Hanakuh. (My apologies if I spelled that wrong.) My eye are barely open! Great idea, and I'd definitely like to sign up. Thanks!

I do have one problem...I have Windows Vista and a Lexmark X2500 printer. I can't upload! If I save it as a picture with a jpg format, there is no way I can find to get it sized below the 640 x 480 SCS requirement. Instead of being able to go manually up or down on the size, I only have drop-down boxe to select preset sizes, all bigger than that. If I go to photo option, I can only choose 4 x 6, passport, etc. ALL the file selections are too big! I've e-mailed SCS, posted this on several forums and contacted Lexmark and Microsoft. Nobody can give me an answer! So if I don't find one by January, I might have to e-mail the file to someone and have them size it down and upload it for me! If someone is a real computer geek or has a DH that is, please mention this and see if they can suggest something! I've run across two others with Windows Vista that have the same problem. Thanks!

Don't worry about uploading if you can't do it. As long as you post to the thread, I will accept that. But if you want to send me a picture, I can try to see if I can get it uploaded. My email is [email protected]. I can't promise that I will be able to do it but I will try.

I am so looking forward to signing up for this challange. This year I waited until November to start and so far have 7 cards made! I better get busy!
(Also now I am 9 months pregnant and could be off to the hospital any time soon!)
Next year I will be prepared!

I don't have windows vista (XP) here, but i can resize my photos inside the do you have Office? ( like microsoftoffice?) if you do one of the parts of that is you know word or excel or one of them is tools and in the drop down menu for tools there is picture manager. and you can use that to edit photos and resize them.
( and if you have a child at home and you take your kids with you to an office supply store to buy it you can buy the "student" version. its a little cheaper then the pro version) just a thought,

I have decided to also incorporate a snowflake/snowman theme into my January cards - but as an extra challenge for myself - each card will be made using a SC Card Sketch! I already have the 1st 10 planned! Can't wait to get started!
