OK...I did the *first* one...I think I'll do more of the same (maybe my 10 for this month?) but maybe with a little variance. I put CC 01 as my card name...I'll do it differently for the rest!

I like your card, I bought that set on the 1/2 off too but haven't used it. I think this year I'm going to do this challenge but incorporate it into a monthly stamp camp-- something like 5 christmas and 5 thank you and 5 b'day. maybe mix it up every month but keep 5 Christmas through the year.
I'm going to join this - the only problem I have is that this computer is ancient and I can't upload pictures to it. So, I guess I'll be on my own - but thanks for the inspiration!!!
Here is my Card. I did not formally sign up for this challenge...but here I am. I made 12 of these...I figured I want to keep one and give one to my upline...and then ten for December...enjoy. I am starting Feb. Now...
Whew, finally got my card posted. I did make twenty but I just posted a picture of a single one. My daughter has helped me so much and a lot of my stamping stuff has come from her so I thought I would help repay it by making her Christmas Cards. I had these done ages ago but I finally stopped procrastinating and filled out the little form on how I made them. Sheesh, it is usually silly little things that can hold a person up from getting things done. Here is my card design. Now I am off to start looking at the cards already posted! This is one of mine. I have about 20 cards done so far. I love this challenge. I am so going to have my cards done this year.
Thanks for getting all of us in gear!

Well, I guess olika and I are in the same boat. I had mine finished the first week of January. I spent several hours today playing with a watermark for my cards. Here are my January cards:
I looked at all the cards that have been made thus far. They are all beautiful cards. I worked tonight on my January ones. Will have to wait till tomorrow afternoon to work on them some more. It is now 1:30 and I"ve got to get up in 6 hrs., and would hate to fall asleep in church tomorrow. I am like one of the other girls I read after. I thought you were to wait till the first of each month to make your cards for that month. Guess I was wrong. Especially since you are giving a prize for whoever gets theres done first of each month. I just hope I can get about 20 done each month. I made about 200 this last christmas. THen I had to mail out a bunch that I bought. Good stamping to all of you.

Sorry for the confusion. I thought about how to do this, and I had to come up with some way that was fair to everyone, but of course, that is nearly impossible to do !!! Since we are all scattered around the globe, yup, even have someone from Norway joining in, there was no way to monitor when everyone starts their cards. So posting first for the month was the only way that I could think of to do it.
So the whole goal of this is to make your holiday season a little better in 2007 The prizes are just a liitle incentive. ;)
I give you credit for sending out 200+ cards! That is amazing. I have been averaging about 65 every year and to me, that was alot!

Finally, I feel very behind because you are all so far ahead!! ;) I suppose I'll have to get used to that as our stamping group has scheduled Christmas Card night as the 2nd Friday in every month.
I'm not worried about the prizes. I know I'll never win anyway. Some people just have more time to stamp than others and are able to have theirs done by midnight of the first day of the month. If I can get my 10 made anytime within the month, I'm happy. I'm here for the challenge. Anything else is just extra...
So far, everyone has done a great job on their cards and I'm looking forward to seeing others soon. Alliesmem, thanks for organizing this challenge. You're doing a great job!

My sentiments exactly! I still haven't started mine yet, but it's only Jan. 14th! I work better under pressure!

Me too! this is my first challenge and I love that I will have all my Christmas cards done in time and that I will have made them all myself! I just started stamping a year ago and made about 1/3 of the cards I needed last year.
My PRIZE is the satisfaction of being prepared this year...the bonus is all the inspiration from everyone else's beautiful cards!

Yippee!! I have my 1st 10 done!! I will post them tomorrow in my gallery since it is a no-upload day!! I am just so excited to have the 1st 10 done!! Yippee!!
Woohoo! I have my first ten done! I am so glad I signed up for this or I would have procrastinated just like every year. I will post tomorrow as today is no-upload Sunday.

I just want to say that I am not worried about the prizes. I was just confused about when to start making them. I'll just be happy if I get mine made every month. I was thinking about this while getting ready for church this morning. For those that are interested in the prizes, and we all live in different time zones, would it be fair if the time was EST since they are the first to hit midnight, if everyone figured out what time that would be in their time zone, and make that their midnight? Am I confusing every one? In other words, if it is 12 in New York, it would be 9 somewhere else. They could use 9 as their 12. Just thought I would throw that out. I have been working on mine for January.

I finished my January cards! They took much longer than I had hoped because I did more coloring than I usually do. Anyway, I made 5 each of two different cards, both using the "Very Merry" set. Here are links to both:
I'm using some leftover cards to fulfil Jan (and maybe Feb) commitment. I also probably wont be making 10 each month, since I dont need that many cards by the end.
I made a trifold card this year, with room for a photo on the inside. it folds down to A2/standard size. it doesnt get any easier than this one!
Alliesmom, as an idea, you could say that you'll open the posting thread each month, and people can upload thier cards for that month once you make the new thread? Thanks for coordinating this, its just the kick I need.

Somewhere buried in the original Thread, I did mention that. My plan is that towards the end of the month, I will start a new Thread and it will be named CCC07-Month (depending on which month we are going into). Hope this helps.
Well, I designed my January card tonight, but I only made 1 so far! I hope to do the other 9 tomorrow night and then post them for all to see. Thanks for all of the creative inspiration! This is a great challenge, and I'm using Christmas ribbon I bought this year but probably would have forgotten about by next year if I wasn't using it now!
It is pretty easy. You have to open the picture up (the page your picture is on, not the whole gallery) Highlight the full http address (this is the URL)above. and hit (Ctrl C) this copies the address. Then when writing your post, highlight the words that you want to be the substitution. Then click on the icon that is the world with a chain. this is the "hyperlink" button. A separate little screen will pop up. Go in there and paste (CTRL V). You should see the http address that was your original picture. Click Ok and you are done. It might look a little strange in your post until you submit your reply, but trust me, it should be all set.
Hope this helps!
