I have 5 of my ten cards done for January but have had to stop off to do some birthday/anniversary cards along the way. By the way my post disappeared because somehow along with a few other SCS members, I got deleted and had to rejoin. However I see I'm #72 on the list but there's just one thing, my second name is spelt FeArn not Fern! I don't mind too much 'cos it's a common mistake but can create all sorts of problems if you were looking for me!!!!! Thanks for keeping the encouragement coming to complete this challenge!
It's January 16th - you have 2 more weeks to complete this challenge for January! We have 72 participants and so far 18 people have met the challenge for January. When you complete cards for the month please post to
Please check the spreadsheet attached to the 1st or 2nd post (it will move from time to time) to see you name and who has completed the Challenge. Thanks again to everyone who is participating! It is never too late to join!
Ruth - no problem with the name change. My name is mispelled all the time too (that's why my e-mail is jaminoe 'cause there's no "e"!). Drives me nuts!
Could you please post to the other thread that you are finished (and a link if you've uploaded) as I will be doing all spreadsheet updates from that other thread. Thanks so much!!!
I was planning on doing this by myself with the intention of doing 10 a month from now until October. If I have a group like this to keep me accountable, I'll actually accomplish the goal! :P
So, if it's not too late, I have 10 finished for January and will do 10 each month (one design per month) through October.

Jami--When I try to upload my scan I browse my files and open the scan
I don't do anything with the "URL of page to parce images from?" because I have no idea what that means.
I hit upload.
After much time I get the message,"Bad Request. Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand."
I didn't have any trouble uploading a couple cards before, so don't know what I need to do differently besides "parching images."
Also, I am unable to open the monthly galleries, although I have paid the donation.
Thanks for your help. I enjoy this site so much and would love to use it more.
Roberta
Roberta - wow - that's beyond me - sorry! You should e-mail Daven. he should be able to help you with both problems. I don't have the e-mail address, but if you go to Forums and scroll down there is a list of everyone who's been to SCS today. You'll see "splitcoaststampers" in black. Click on that and from there you can e-mail him. There is probably and easier way, but...?
stjock - I added you to the list. This is really a challenge to avoid the stress of doing Christmas cards at the last minute, but you can of course use it any way you want.
Here's where we stand:
79 Challenge Participants
41 Completed January Challenge
5 Already Completed February
For January we had 53% complete! Let's go for higher in February!!!!
For those of you who signed up, but didn't get January done - NO GUILT!!! Let's just move on to February and get those 10 cards done this month!!!!! Remember when you have finished cards for any month please post a message on the other thread (the one listed above) as that's the one Shelley and I will be using for updating the spreadsheet.
Anyone who would still like to join us - you are more than welcome!!! Just post a message right here on this thread and we will get you added to the list!! It's never too late to join!
Ok - I saw this when it was first posted and somehow never responded. So, count me in! I was late getting my cards out (and with guilt admit I still haven't mailed my god-mother's gift!!!  ). I am determined to be on time with everything this year! We'll see.
So, count me in. I may not start until March - just depends - I am in tons of swaps right now and also planning for the DC Regionals!!

Haven't finished February quota yet...finishing up some swaps first. Fortunately, I joined a Christmas card swap, lol. That will ensure I get my cards finished for the month!
I'd like to add another goal or two to my thingy here.
1. I'd like to make a minimum of ten gift tags - March through November.
2. I've decided that this will be the year of homemade (and clutterfree) gifts, so I'm making a variety of cards (thank you, etc.) for my kiddos teachers as Christmas presents. I'd like to make a minimum of five per month, March - December (very early Dec.).
Okay, that's it. Need to get to bed so I can get up early and get those swaps out!
Wonderful idea---------I started much to late and as a relatively new stamper, I was only able to make 11 cards! About 150 short!! I am in the process of selling my business so now that I will be home, I can join this little club and get stampin! So much fun. Ringer
Ok - I still need to update the list and the spreadsheet. I'm having to compete for computer time with DH who is building a business web site. So I'll have to do the updates soon. Appreciate your patience on that!
Shelley and I would like to offer a little extra motivation to everyone to complete the challenge, so here's our idea. We will hold 2 drawings in November. The first drawing will be for everyone who participated in any way. If you finsihed any months Christmas cards your name will go in the drawing. One entry per person. The second drawing for the grand prize will be only for those who have completed 10 months or more of the challenge by November 19th.
We are asking that anyone who can please contribute to the "prize baskets". Your contribution could be a hand-stamped item, an embellishment, whatever. Or you may contribute cash towards SU products and the postage to send the prizes. It would be great if you could keep your contribution at $1-$3 in value/cost. If you are sending hand-stamped items (which would be fabulous!) please keep them on the smaller and lighter side (no tiles please) to keep the shipping cost down. You do not have to contribute to be included in the drawing. Just do it if you can and want to. It will be so fun to put together 2 cool prize baskets. Once they are complete I'll post a photo. We'll take contibutions to the prize baskets through October 30th, but the sooner the better. PM me for my address if you'd like to send something.
Is everyone still getting notifications on this thread? Please post here to let us know that you've seen this. We'll be trying to PM those that we don't hear from.
One more week to complete the Challenge for February. Let's get that percentage UP THIS MONTH!!! Here's to a no-stress December!!!!
I've seen the post. I just got done with my first Secret Sister card, so I'll have time to do my February Christmas after all. Thanks. I'm not on the list yet.

Please remember when you finsih cards for February post to the thread listed above - not to this thread. Thanks!
