Yay! I finished my 10 cards for January! I didn't even manage to make 10 Christmas cards in the whole of last year, so I'm feeling pretty good right now
Woo-Hoo!!! Numbers 5 & 6 are done for my monthly challenge!!!
I never got around to doing some challenge swap cards, so I decided to work on a couple yesterday. Lucky for me, 2 of them were non-traditional colored Christmas cards. Score!!!
I did a black and white theme for these ones, 2 basic designs with minor differences in execution. I thought i would do multiples of cards but it seems i can't help myself and had to change them as i made them!
Love your card. Left you some love in the gallery.
I went to the Feb thread today, because I did my Feb cards. I thought I would be one of the first.
WRONG. Lot of people have already done FEB! So, now I have too.
My 10 for the month of January are done. I have them posted on my blog. However I tried to upload them in my gallery on here and it said they are too big. I tried doing 5 at a time and even 1 at a time. I tried to figure out how I could save them to a smaller file. Someone help please.
memories2keep- Your cards are terrific! I am not sure what photo editing software you use, but I use Microsoft and there is an option to resize. Generally I resize to 945 x 768 and that seems to upload well.. I am sure that there are others here at SCS that will know a better way or have more advice...thanks again for sharing!

Great set of cards! Let me know if you use a Mac and iPhoto because I know how to reset the size in that program.

Your cards are beautiful! Wish I could help you with the resizing. I resize mine in Microsoft too.

I use a very user-friendly program called Fast Stone Photo Resizer. I'm far from techy and I was able to use it immediately. You can google it for a download.

Thanks, Kelly. I just downloaded Fast Stone. Ill have to play with it later. If I don't get off this computer soon, I'll never get any of the other important stuff done.
I know its a bit late but can I join the party please?
It's never too late to join. Kelly will get you added to the list as soon as she can. Just let her know how many cards you want to make each month. Welcome aboard.
Click on the pictures you want to resize.
Go to 'File' and choose 'export'
Choose a place to save your pics.
Choose the option 'Specify Size'. The limit for SCS I think is 2048 pixels.
Then hit 'Export'.
You should then be able to upload the resized pics to SCS.
iPhoto is similar. Choose your pics, hit 'export' then use the resize boxes. Neither height nor width can be larger than 2048.
I just wanted to say everyone's cards are so gorgeous, I've tried to leave love on them all but you've beaten me LOL you guys just upload too fast. Loving some of the unusual designs and colour combinations.
