Color Challenge: Use shades of blue and green on your CAS card. Neutrals can be used (white, cream, black, etc). Please remember to keep it clean and simple!
What is CAS?
The idea of CAS is to keep it Clean and Simple.
Definition: A clean and simple card has limited layers and sometimes just a card base. It leaves a lot of "open space". It uses little or no embellishments. Any techniques should be the old standard everyday kind like sponging, distressing and piercing. Limit the number of tools you use. Any colored images should be small and quick. Don't go overboard on tons of punches and embossing. CAS cards should be easy and quick.
Many of you have been PMing me about the location of the CAS challenge. New challenges start here and then get their own forum when we see that it will be successful. I think we're on the right track! I'm loving this and I can tell you are loving it too! Hopefully soon we'll have our own sub-forum with the other weekly challenges
Uploading: Remember the keyword is without spaces. Use a comma between keywords with a space after each comma.
If you are new to the challenges, please feel free to do this one or ANY of the challenges at any time. There is no time limit. They are not races to see who can do one first, nor are they contests of any sort. All the challenges are simply to provide inspiration and to get us stamping!

Very cool colors (okay, that made me laugh!), Jen!
We have a new home for the CAS Challenge, but right now, I can't move the threads over! As soon as we can get that fixed, I'll get everything moved. Have fun!
I look forward to using blue and green in the morning! Thanks for putting these challenges together, I so look forward to them!!

Growing through challenges
Oh, these CAS are hard ones for me... so I guess I will keep playing each week, and hopefully get better at them!! I spend so much time on it, and it never seems right. I actually made two, because I abandonded one partway through... but I chickened out during upload, and didn't process it. I just don't like it...
So here is the card that took me about 2 hours, and is about a 10 minute card, tops. Sad...

Ms Boo, you've done such a great job with coordinating the CAS challenges. Thanks so much. I am beginning to really love these. I'll be back in a few with 2 I made yesterday!
