Is that address for real? Beate lives in NICEVILLE??? What a hoot. I will work on my cards later. HAPPY B-DAY TO BOTH DAVEN AND BEATE. What would we do without SCS??

Here is my horribly photgraphed card. My camera turns red orange, & blurs the crosshatch bg ~~ anyone have any tips??? The actual card only took me 15 minutes, but the picture took me over an hour!!
How cool to make "2" BRAK's this week for "2" very, very important SCS people ! I am going to be out of town, so will play on sunday or monday. Also our very own "Emily" is the Featured Stamper for this week.....really cool, don't you think?!? I did get to play the FS08 challenge. Have a great week, Nancy
Great cards everyone! I only got one part of the challenge done so far, but when I get back from running errands I'll tackle the second set of colors. Thanks for checking out my card!
I tried an idea I saw in this month's Paper Crafts magazine - cutting out the empty spaces in the doodles. I'm no wiz with a craft blade but this is a neat look. I think I need some more practice, though
wow! everyone is jamming already this morning...I still have to finish school with my kids and find some creative time...I think I'm getting left behind.....
There is nothing like being stuck at work; having an evening meeting right after work;knowing you have the exact paper and freshly re-inked pads for the challenge AND absolutely no time in your day to stamp! Grrr....I have to wait for the weekend.
I got to do the challenge early today because I'm home from work playing nursemaid to my 43-year old son, who had outpatient surgery this morning. He's fine, by the way.
This card has no stamping -- but it was lots of fun! Happy Birthday, Daven!
Thanks for the double challenge Emily..I only had time to make one card for now but will work on the other later.. I spelled Daven's name wrong on the card--I was thinking of a friend of mine, her child's name is....Devin..I will fix prior to mailing.. Here it is
I hate to ask this question, I feel like I should probably know this, but...who is Daven and what does he do here??? I know who Beate is and what she does (and Emily mentioned it at the beginning of the thread),but I want to thank Daven for all he does here as I gather he is pretty important...I'd just like to be specific in my gratitude!
I really hope I didn't just commit a great SCS faux pas
I just had to make a card with some new stamps I got today. I did mess up! I used Regal Rose instead of Pretty in Pink...I don't know why I got that into my brain! Anyway...hope you'll let this one fly! Thanks for another fabulous challenge Em...2 years! WOW! Can't believe it has been that long!

Daven is the mastermind behind SCS. His wife (Tracy) is a SU! demo and wanted her own website. So instead of her paying for the regular SU! site, Daven was a total sweety of a hubby and created a website for her. Hence the birth of SCS! That was years ago....and the rest is history!!!!
