I am posting the color challenge today because Kimberly is very busy trying to help a Katrina refugee reunite with his mom. Our prayers are with all who are involved with this tragedy and those who are helping out.
This week's color challenge is tempting turquoise, gable green and lavender lace. I got this color combo from a blanket my daughter has in her room. Hope that we haven't done something too similar before.
Our thoughts and prayers are with all the refugees (isn't it hard to think of our own countrymen by that term?) and the wonderful people like MamaK who are taking the time to help them.

Hope to find time for this after the kids go to bed. Thanks, Julia, for posting in Kimberly's absence. Kimberly, thanks for taking time out of your busy life to help someone who really needed it.

I don't really stamp much. I'm just here for the company.
Here's mine...I love these colors together! I might just send this out as a RAK!! Hmmmm.... Kimberly, thoughts and prayers are with you as you provide assistance to those in need!!
Thanks for posting Julia! My thoughts and prayers are with all effected by this tragedy. And to MamaK and Emily, you ladies rock!

I had a problem getting the green to scan right... it looked yellow. I don't know if you can tell or not, but the background is wax paper resist. Here it is.... it's still pending:
Here is my contribution , both for the color challenge and ways to use it. When I first posted, the gallery wasn't working, and now I don't know how to remove the attachment LOL.
As you may have guessed, Gautreaux is a Cajun name. This is going to my in-laws' house in MS about 70 miles from New Orleans, where they are currently housing 15 people, 9 dogs, and some birds and miniature horses :-)
My first color challenge! I decided to do the sketch challenge as well since I never had a chance to do it last week and for once I think I actually like a card I've made!
Here's my card for this challenge. I had difficulty getting it uploaded yesterday so hope you can see it once it is not pending any more. It is still pending as of 7:15am. Thanks for looking
Kathy
Okay, I'm not sure what happened.....I've done something weird with this upload. There are two images....don't know why. Maybe because I prefer this card to the one I made for this challenge with the chair.....
Here's two for this color challenge that I finally got time to do today. One also fits the technique challenge for this week and the other also fits the sketch challenge from last week.
Well I got one done yesterday for this challenge finally! It wasn't approved until this am so here is the link. I really love these colors together and will probably use this combo again. Thanks for the challenge!
