This is my second one and I like it much better than the first. I used Prismacolors and gamsol on this - just got them and I have to say, I love the way the colors blend together - may be my new "favorite" coloring technique.
Friendship Blossoms
Thanks again, Emily. Who would have thought these colors could produce so many great cards!!!

I found some Basicgrey paper in my stash that had all 3 colors in it so I went with that as my background. Here's mine...

Although the color is "off" in the scan, the colors truly are Only Orange and Night of Navy. Added a couple of embellishments that were as close to Certainly Celery as I could come.
Had made this card for a cousin's graduation...coincidentally her school's colors are orange and navy blue. Just added the ribbon and brads to meet CC67, but I'm not all that happy with the results. Oh well, there's always next time.

My 10 yr old DS loves you! He said this is the best card I have made all year. Of course his favorite color is orange which I do not use very often. He thanks you for the challenge (and so do I)

I just want to say that the color challenge is my favorite of all challenges -- I've been doing them for a month or so -- they are SOOO addicting!!! And every Tuesday a.m. when I look at the colors, I think "oh my, what am I going to do with those colors", or sometimes I even think "what is she thinking"!!! And then I pull out the papers and start working and it totally blows me away -- all of the combos are SO GREAT, and things I would never put together on my own -- JUST LOVE THESE CHALLENGES!!! Here's my card, called Orange Hatter:

I don't often get to stamp with my long-distance sister, but she was kind enough to let me use her Measure of a Life while she is here visiting.
