Yipee! A day late, but I got it done! I really liked using these colors! Thanks Emily...great way for me to use those less used colors. My poor pink passion had fade lines on it. eeek....looks like I need to use {all} the colors a little more often. Here is mine: Gallery at Splitcoaststampers

The main thing is that I didn't chicken out of this color combo. To say that it is out of my comfort zone is nothing. I think it's out of my comfort universe.
Well...This is just craptastic! I don't have 2 of these colors!!! And here I was with an afternoon to stamp. I guess I will have to replace stamping with stalking. Great cards so far, ladies!
This was a super-tough combo for me- a REAL challenge. My Gable Green thanks you, though. I think color challenges are the only time it sees the light of day.
I don't think I would ever have put these colors together, but I think I like how it turned out! I combined the color challenge with this week's sketch challenge.
I do use these colors but I struggled to use them for this baby card. Then I struggled again to get a picture that would show the white on white scallops. I am really happy with it IRL.
A fun discovery was that the corner rounder punch makes exactly 2 scallops per side of the smaller square punch so it was relatively easy to get the scallops to go around the quilt evenly. I think I figured out an SU way to get my scallop shapes- sort of.
Okay, I have to ask this question - I have seen alot of cards that use a circle with a scalloped edge. I like that - but WHERE do I find something like that? It is too big to be a punch, but yet it looks so uniform.

Hope this is right; it's my first time to play. These colors were a real stretch for me. . . My Lavendar Lace is faded from being six years old! Ick. (Or maybe it's always been that way, and that's why I never use it. ;-D)
