I searched for tissue paper that would fit with this week's color combo of summer sun, real red, pink passion. I made several 'hot' backgrounds tonight but here's my very first 'hot card'. It combines TLC12 with CC10:
"Look out! Look out! Pink elephants on parade Here they come! Hippety hoppety they're here and there Pink elephants ev'rywhere"
If you're not humming it now, I bet you will be after checking out my challenge contributions. This is what immediately came to mind after rejecting any floral sets, since I figured a lot of people would automatically go for those and I wanted something a little bit different.
Here's another one for this color combo. It also fits a Sketch Challenge. I got the background idea from one of the Virtual Stamp Night Challenges. Thanks for all the inspiration ladies!
Still not my favorite colors together, but here is my first attempt... I had to add a few extra colors, it looked funny to me with just Summer Sun, Pink Passion and Real Red...
What fun! I love this challenge and get so inspired! I made one but the craft ink is still too wet to scan and I don't feel like getting out the heat gun. But keep posting yours and I'll get around to mine later!
This was a great color challenge! I wanted to do it yesterday but just didn't have the time!
So here is mine! And I just got my new sets today so I was able to use Treat Yourself! Yippee!
I was so excited that I actually had all the inks for this color challenge. Boy, was I disappointed when I found out that I was out of summer sun paper. So, this is what I finally came up with...
Location: In my Happy Place with no one bothering me....I hope!

I think I finally figured out how to do this. Let's see if I get it right or screw it up again! This is my first post for these challenges, but I have been playing along. I'll try to post the others too! Here goes... be kind!!!
This is my first color challenge. Love this color combo!! I was really shocked to see how bright this combo is in a good way ofcourse! Here is the link
You're letting someone else pack your stamping stuff??? Are you hovering over them telling them how to do it? LOL!!! How long will you be "out of commission"?
Jami, I spent last night "prepacking"....everything is already in plastic bags, plastic shoe boxes, etc...nice and "safe"! And yes, when the ladies get to my stampin' space, I *will* be right there!
We will be at the new house next Friday...it is just across town. So, no more stampin' for me for 10 days or so! *sigh* I hope I don't have withdrawals!
This is the first time I've posted to a challenge... These two cards are almost the same, just different variations. I tried to do crayon resist on the butterflies, but not sure it worked out too well. Am I supposed to be doing crayon resist on glossy paper? I didn't-- I did it on regular white so I could rub pastel chalks to color in the butterflies. It's also hard to see the white crayon on white cardstock when you're coloring-- what's the trick for that?
I added my bright card to the gallery at Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
I must admit to using a NON SU flower punch, it was the right size for the Border Builder stems and I wanted the red and pink to be my flowers. I tried the other punch but the flower was too large.
I am so happy! I came home from dinner and found that I had two posts to a card. I didn't know the card went thru, so I was too happy when I saw I had two posts saying they liked my card! I smiled for about 30 minutes! I thought it was my first up load, but the other ones I tried to get on here, made it too.
So, being this is my first time doing a challenge, I have no idea how to bring the card link here. I might need help for that part. I have no idea if this is the right way or not.
My first attempt at Color Challenge! Also, my first try at using these three colors together. Wow! I didn't think I could LOVE such a BOLD BRIGHT color combo. Thanks MamaKimberly for showing me the {{BRIGHT}} light
