AUGUST PROGRESSIVE CHALLENGE 15 - TASK #3 (08/20/13)
August Progressive Task #3!
3 steps this week:
1. Add one stamp/stamp brush. Try playing with opacity on this one (my sun is at 85% opacity). On a traditional page this would be a great time to use a vellum embellishment!
2. Add a baker's twine or ribbon BOW somewhere on your page.
3. Add a length of ribbon or ribbon-like trim somewhere on your page. My ribbon is made with SU's Dotted Scallop Ribbon Punch.
I'm not sure what it means to add a stamp/stamp brush in digital language. For traditional it would mean just to stamp an image on your page in a lighter opacity, easy enough to do.
Sharon,
a digital stamp or brush as they are known in photoshop is just like a rubber stamp except the size can be changed and lowering the opacity would be like stamping off first. there are all kinds of cool blending modes to make it blend in. the down side is sometimes you just feel the need to get ink under your nails!
your page looks awesome and the colors are my fav.

i love to get up and scrap with my coffee in the morning. i get up earlier than everyone, so i have quiet ( i am not a morning person, probably because i go to bed later than everyone also!) when i miss this ritual, i really really miss it. this starts my day off right.
