I just stumbled upon this thread and I am a newbie to this site. I want to subscribe to this challenge, I know it's almost over but it is such a great idea, I did not want to pass it up.

Here is Memory Verse Page for October (and actually completed and uploaded to Gallery in October!) I am so loving this Challenge. When I am studying the Word, and come across verses that speak to me right where I am, I write them on my Memory Verse List, and then I am all ready each month with a verse to memorize and make a page for.
Thought it was about time I posted a comment on this thread. I've been reading and looking at the oh so pretty cards, and Bible verses for the past couple of months. I read that we could "join in any time" but the year is almost over:(
I was wondering if this is going to continue in 2009? One thing about Gods word is it never gets old!

I hope so, because I didn't really get to devote the time to it like I should have. I would like it to be a focus for the new year. ;)

From whom do we need to ask permission to continue the Bible Verse Challenge in 2009?? And how do we go about changing the BVC08 to BVC09 thread?

I'm so glad you asked. Divine Design will continue in 2009 because God's Word never gets old. ;) Plan on sticking with us. If you have enjoyed this challenge this year, you'll be really excited about 2009 - that's all I'm gonna say about that for now! ;)

Fantastic news! I can't wait to hear more about it.
Since I'm basically starting over cause I couldn't make up my mind how I wanted to house these here is #2 for this year. So I guess this would be February's verse:
I'm so glad to hear that we're going to continue this next year as I wasn't every able to start this year :(
Hey Cassie,
Do come join us next year. I didn't do so well keeping up with the rest of the gang but, it has definitely been a blessing what I did accomplish and then seeing their beautiful creations. ;)
Thank you for this thread... I soooooo need this. I hope to start with you all in January, though I think I will begin now. I think I'll do mine in a Rolodex file since it seems addresses get changed to often to spend so much time on a nice card... the bible never changes. :-) Thank you LM for giving me the link!!! I know my kids will love flipping thru the Rolodex with such pretty cards and reading the Word of God. Bless you all for doing this!
Stumbled across this thread this morning! I soooooo need this...God gives us what we need(when we need it)..I am subscribing for 2009! Thanks for hosting this wonderful idea! Denise
I am sooooo disappointed that I didn't find this thread and challenge until December 11th, 2008. I have really enjoyed looking through these samples that you've all posted throughout the year and because I love Scripture I am going to have this be my challenge for 2009. I was curious if Lori or anyone else was going to continue this thread, and a new challenge, for 2009. I would sure like some company for my journey . . . and there is still more passages of TRUTH to explore and memorize.
Thank you Lori for sharing this idea and being such an inspiration. Thank you to all the others who joined in for the year. I'm only sorry I missed out on the 2008 journey . . . but that's what a new year is for, new beginnings. And 2009 is right around the corner!!

[QUOTE=stamp_momma;8295092]I am committed to memorizing more of God's Word this year. I am going to make it happen. To keep me on track, a few of my girlfriends and I are committed to sharing an on-going project all year. Would you share the journey with us?
