Eeeeeeeeeeep!! Welcome to Falliday Fest! We've been working for months behind the scenes and we are so excited to kick things off today, with challenges, tutorials, prizes and even more surprises!
Today's tutorial turns an ordinary cardstock box into a cute fall decoration! If you have the gift box punch board, you can use it for a quick box base, but if not, we have some alternatives for you in the photo tutorial. These are so fun to make!

Shannon, I don't have a tutorial for the envelope punch board, but I did make a template for those that didn't have the gift box punch board. There's a link to it in the tutorial, but you can get it by clicking the link below, too.
the template wouldn't open for me so i searched online and used this calculator for the envelope board. http://thecraftyowl.co.uk/boxbuster/
My box is made and my leaves are drying. I'm loving the result!

Such a challenge! I had to get creative and substitute TONS. FF16punchboardpumpkin twice The flat one was my first guess using the envelope punch board. The cube came from adjusting.

I think I have a similar question as Jeanette...I don't have a punch board. Is the point of this tutorial a box? a pumpkin box?? And if the point is the pumpkin, can I use ANY shape or template for it?
No punch board, No leaf stamps, No coordinating EF even close...
So welcome to Substitution City...I live there most of the time...even with recipes which can make things interesting! Flexibility is the great de-stressor!!!
Did a bit of "Julia revising" including adding raffia ribbon to my burlap ribbon as an overlay- and lots of leaves! Here's FF16punchboardpumpkin Fall Colors Box

"Sunstamper"--my photo didn't turn out as well as the "real life" project did either!
So, I almost passed this challenge up. I don't own a punch board, and I'm not good at 3 D projects. But I kept looking at it, and late yesterday, decided to give it a try. I made the box using the template provided, and after the second try (not sure what I did the first time, but my "pumpkin" was quite lopsided :confused, it was late. This morning I finished up the leaves, put it together, and here it is:
Finally getting in gear with your tutorials for FF, Dina. I had to do a little improvising with this one, but I think it makes a darling pumpkin. Thanks!
