Clean and Simple (CAS) Favorites for the Week Ending May 16, 2010
Welcome to the Clean and Simple Favorites of the Week thread! Everyone is invited to post links to their CAS favorites from last week's gallery submissions. And what a week it was!
I'll get us started with a few of my favorites and will be back after church to post the rest.
tiffguam posted a very elegant invitation using white and kraft
Cricketeer's one-layer bull dog card is absolutely cute with the themed ribbon
ltecler made a pink and graphic card with a really pretty ribbon
criminalgrace used gingham paper to make her happy whale on a big thanks card
biggan's blueberry card takes full advantage of the lovely texture of the paper and a fun little bow for max impact
parkes used some cool sponging to make a perfect backdrop for her lovely Penny Black flowers
artsy_em found a very creative use for a bracket on her sweet You Float my Boat card, and her Rainbow Birthday card is a graphic masterpiece of CAS design
keuby made a whole set of fun one-layer notecards and this was my favorite
al_silver 2 used umbrellas so cleverly on her colorful, beribboned card
debdeb's What's Perking card has lots of great detail all pulled together in an overall CAS way
1busymomof2 completely blew me away with her fabulous Happy Birthday card...what a clever string of pennants!
Back later with more! I can't wait to see what you found in the gallery that I missed, so please share your favorites and if you have time, please comment on them as you feel moved. Several that ended up in my favorites this week had no comments at all, which is a crying shame!
Oooh, Susan, I missed a couple you posted! That's what I love about this thread...I find more lovely cards...so that my favorites folder gets to be HUGE!
Thank you, Diane, for mentioning the only card I could upload this week! LOL

Thank you so much for choosing my card for one of your faves this week. It wasn't intentionally a CAS card but I don't think you can do much else for sympathy cards to be honest. I certainly wouldn't want a frilly one myself!

Oh my gosh, thank you so much for mentioning two of my cards! It's always an honor, not to mention a HUGE pick-me-up, to make the thread. Karen, thanksfor letting me know!

I am so thrilled that one of my cards has made the CAS Favorites of the Week thread. I must confess I didn't know of such a thread before this!
Thank you all for your kind comments.

I was going to say I feel like a rock star for having my dog OLC picked for the faves this week... but then I thought about the whole CAS thing and decided maybe I feel more like a famous acoustic folk singer... Anyway... thanks, Susan, for the mention, and to Karen for alerting me! Off to check out the rest of the picks!
