Hi, Janine here starting this week's Favorites Thread. April seems to have been a long month and this strange existence looks as though it will be here for some time. Thank goodness we have all the challenges here at Splitcoaststampers and lots of people sharing their beautiful creations. We also have a lovely band of people commenting on cards and creating lists of favourites - thank you to you all.
About this thread: The current week's FAVORITES thread is a way to give recognition to some of the standout creations shared in our SCS Gallery. This is the place to link all the fabulous favorites you discovered in the SCS Gallery last week, Sunday, 19th April through Saturday, 25th April. Everyone is welcome to join in -- check my next post for directions.
Got a CAS card favorite? Look for the CAS (Clean and Simple) Favorites for Week thread in the Favorites Forum.
Our dedicated team members are on the job delivering notifications and smiles:
You don't have to wait until you have a card in the Favorites threads. The more participation we have, the more fun and interesting this thread will be. You also DO NOT have to wait for a notice to post a thank you.
Please help the Favorites Teams by making sure:
That the LINKS in your Favorites List work correctly. WE ARE UNABLE TO NOTIFY LINKS THAT DO NOT WORK.
IMPORTANT NOTE: MS Word and other office software have format programming that conflicts with SCS programming. Either copy and paste the code directly into the SCS site orprepare your post in Wordpad, TextEdit or Notepad then copy and paste into SCS.
The card maker'sSCS NAME is shown, it really helps if their name is in color.
It really, really, helps if you have a BLANK LINE between each entry.
And please DO NOT use the “Quote” button to the side of the post when you post a thank you!!
Replying with the “Quote” button causes the original message to be repeated. That can confuse the team, and we may notify people twice.
Did you find your way to this thread because someone listed one of YOUR creations as a favorite? In addition to saying thank you, we encourage you to pay that smile you're probably wearing right now forward by sharing a few of the cards/projects YOU listed in your favorites for this week.

Important Tip: DO NOT USE THE PREVIEW BUTTON!!!!!!
The Favorites Team have a timely tip for you.
DO NOT USE THE PREVIEW BUTTON!!!!!! Each time you click it, you'll get either extra lines or code.
Here's Susie's method.
Made list in NOTEPAD, put a single line space between each entry.
Copied the list, went to the Favs thread and clicked on GO ADVANCE.
Pasted list. I did NOT preview the list, I clicked SUBMIT.
I checked the Favs thread to see if it was ok, and it was fine. I wanted to try and highlight the cardmakers names, so I clicked EDIT.
I made cardmakers name red, again I did not preview the post and I didn't try to remove the additional text after the card makers name. Clicked SAVE.
A surprisingly long-for-me list today! There were some wonderful creative ideas for the Taped challenge on Thursday, but I think most of my favourites come from Lyn's bleach challenge on Monday.
Thanks as always to both the notifying team and to each one of you who gives a little time to spreading happiness. We could all do with it just now. We know ourselves how hard it can be to post links at the moment, your efforts are much appreciated by everybody. Carla has posted Susie's tips on what worked for her in post # 4.
Thank you Janine for starting the favorites thread this week. Thank you to the terrific favorites team for sending the happy mail to the wonderful card designers on this tread. We really appreciate you volunteering your time to notify.
Thank you Janine for adding 2 of my cards to your favorites this week. I really appreciate being on your incredible list of favorites this week sweet friend.
