Favourites for the week ending Saturday April 20th
Hi Janine here again to start this week's favorites - by the time I am back doing a favorites post in May I will have flown to Atlanta and seen some more of the Georgia and Carolinas scenery. I will also have had a short visit with Angie and her hubby. Amy has kindly agreed to swap slots so I will be back at the end of next month. We are busy getting things sorted here and I am trying to walk more, so I have had less creative and gallery time. Hope it has been a good week and you have had time to enjoy your art and what others have shared
About this thread: The current week's FAVORITES thread is a way to give recognition to some of the standout creations shared in our SCS Gallery. This is the place to link all the fabulous favorites you discovered in the SCS Gallery last week, Sunday, April 14th through Saturday, April 20th. Everyone is welcome to join in -- check my next post for directions.
Got a CAS card favorite? Look for the CAS (Clean and Simple) Favorites for Week thread in the Favorites Forum.
Our dedicated team members are on the job delivering notifications and smiles: Lisa (Shoe Girl), Kia (kiagc), Janine (Jay_Bee), Brenda (tessaduck) and Amy (Kalla Walla).
You don't have to wait until you have a card in the Favorites threads. The more participation we have, the more fun and interesting this thread will be. You also DO NOT have to wait for a notice to post a thank you.
Please help the Favorites Teams by making sure:
That the LINKS in your Favorites List work correctly. WE ARE UNABLE TO NOTIFY LINKS THAT DO NOT WORK.
IMPORTANT NOTE: MS Word and other office software have format programming that conflicts with SCS programming. Either copy and paste the code directly into the SCS site orprepare your post in Wordpad, TextEdit or Notepad then copy and paste into SCS.
The card maker’sSCS NAME is shown, it really helps if their name is in color.
It really, really, helps if you have a BLANK LINE between each entry.
And please DO NOT use the “Quote” button to the side of the post when you post a thank you!! Replying with the “Quote” button causes the original message to be repeated. That can confuse the team, and we may notify people twice.
Did you find your way to this thread because someone listed one of YOUR creations as a favorite? In addition to saying thank you, we encourage you to pay that smile you're probably wearing right now forward by sharing a few of the cards/projects YOU listed in your favorites for this week.
Thank you, Janine (Jay_Bee), for listing my Pot of Geraniums in your favorites this week. You are on the ball and I thank you for notifying me. Hope you have a fun trip to the USA and visiting with Angie.

Thank you so much, Lisa (Shoe Girl), for listing my card "Sisters" among your favorites. I don't feel very confident in my ability to create CAS cards, so it's very nice to know that you liked my attempt.
Here are all the lovely cards that especially caught my eye this week.
Thank you so much, Lisa ( Shoe Girl), for choosing my Football Fan Wear as one of your favorites! It surely made my day! Thank you, Brenda (Benzi), for letting me know I had happy mail!

Thanks, Nancy! That “treat” box actually has a package of tissues as well as the one in front. Thanks to Janine for notifying. I know how much effort goes into that.
