It's Friday and time for another LIMITED SUPPLY CHALLENGE!! Im your guest
host for this week! Remember what it was like before you had a whole room full of stamping supplies? Let's see what everyone can come up with from the limits below. Remember that you can use any combination of things on this list, but you cannot use anything not listed below.
When you upload your card to the gallery please put
LSC31 in the keyword section and post a link to this thread so we can all go look. Everyone is welcome to play -even if you've never done a challenge before...please join us!!!
Inspiration for this challenge: I wanted to propose an idea that would give a unique challenge to every participating individual. I wanted try something a little different and make the challenge a little more personal. I haven't seen anything like this on here before (but it doesn't mean it's not there), so if it's a repeat of anything else, I'm sorry.
So here is the challenge: Create a beautiful and inspiring card based on the consecutive letters of your Splitcoast Stampers username. Here's how we'll do it (I'll use my username,
Brian, as an example):
The Supplies
Stamps: Use any number of stamp sets that begin with the first letter of your Splitcoast Stampers username. (Since my first letter is "b", I might use Buds and Blossoms, Background Basics and even my Brushstroke Alphabet set).
Cardstock: Use one or two colors of cardstock that begin with the next letter of your Splitcoast Stampers username (since my second letter is "r", I might use Really Rust) and any amount of neutral cardstocks (Sahara Sand might be nice).
Ink: Use one or two colors of cardstock that begin with the third letter of your Splitcoast Stampers username (since my third letter is "i" and there are no colors that start with "i", I skip "i" and will move to the next letter in my name, which is "a." I might use Always Artichoke).
Accessories: eyelets, brads, ribbon, whatever!
Techniques: any
That's it! Hopefully I've explained my vision simply enough.
I can't wait to see what you come up with! I know that each submission will be completely different from the others.
...and please participate so I don't look like the guest host with the terrible challege idea. ;)
Take care, and happy stamping!
Brian
