I started these yesterday....they were ATCs from TLC66, made into cards using a wheel (for WT63), and now they fit Jen's challenge! I made them like postcards (so they are really flat!) to attach to kids gift bags. Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
Here's mine! I actually made this on Tuesday, but if fits today's challenge perfectly! Not only is it flat, but it's a no layers card! I was playing with a new Inky Antics stamp.
I've been waiting for such a challenge - those of us who don't live in the US pay big $$ for postage, so most of mine to the US and elsewhere can't have a lot of "bumpy" things!

Here is mine, combined with yesterday's wheel challenge. I used a marker to turn the "friend" into friends." There is a lot of coloring that didn't get picked up by my scanner though. I really should figure out how to snap a pix using a camera instead of scanning them. Oh well, this is faster.
Sorry, Jen, I know this isn't what you meant, but I couldn't resist--I'm a children's literature fanatic so this popped into my head and I had to get it on paper.
Actually, humor aside, this wasn't much of a challenge for me. Most of my cards are flat--I'm a cheapskate at heart, so I have to study and work to make myself use embellishments.
I just added my cards to the gallery but I don't know how to add the hyperlink to my reply to post it here. I'm not having any luck opening Jen's instructions below. Can anyone help me? I also want to know how are some of you able to make your card title your hyperlink?
Thanks!
Sonia,
I didn't see anyone answer this, so let me see if I can make it simple for you. If you have your card open in the gallery, you can select (highlight) the url in the address line, copy (CTRL+C), and then come here, start your post & paste (CTRL+V). That is one way.
Another way: if you do NOT have your card open, but the thumbnail shows on the gallery page you are viewing, right click on the TITLE & select copy shortcut. Then come here, start your post & paste as above.
To change the link to read the title of your card, I'm going to send you a PM. If you've never received a PM, at the top of your screen next to your user name is a small envelope icon. If there is a number next to it, you have PM's. Just click on the envelope to retrieve them.
Last night after spending *hours* on this clown - learning to use my prisma-colors - I was really quite happy to not add any embellishments. I might decide to add a single balloon - cut out and glued on. But no... I am *way* too sleepy. 3 o'clock is no time for an old lady to be going to bed!!!!
Here is a card made by my three year old that fits the challenge. She loves to stamp and help me wash and dry stamps after I use them. Sometimes she decides to go solo and this was one of the results.
I just had to share. She always amazes me. Gallery at Splitcoaststampers

I did two cards for the challenge!! Will wonders never cease!! I love the freedom this challenge gives....I had lots of fun. It says my card is still pending, but I uploaded it an hour ago so I am going to put in the links and hope you will come back and look at it....I have to go get my husband from the train!!!
I really enjoyed this challenge Jen. It was fun working to create a card that could stand alone without embellishments. I love Long-Time Friend and haven't used it for a while. Masked Garden Images
