I have a gazillion faux cards in my gallery (almost everything I do has something faux in it!). I'll think on this today, and hope I find time to play! (oh that rhymes!)
I created a "List O' Faux" because when I went to find a listing of faux techniques, I didn't find one. So I posted my own search results. Hope you find it helpful!
Yay - I got it done before lunch! This was fun. I used a faux tear with the new Blossoms Abound set and cut out little lilacs that I'm going to call faux mini primas (in my world.)
I've made faux tags using my cirlce punches. Punch out a 1 3/8 circle, then punch a 1 1/4 out of the middle of that cirlce. This should leave you with a ring. Punch another 1 3/8 out of vellum. Glue the ring around the vellum circle and VOILA, you have a vellum tag! Now I just need to use this on a project!
Here is mine--3 faux techniques--Faux suede, faux metal, and faux dimensionals (trimmed rubber left from mounting) Also my first attempt at finger walking the background. Soft Suede Trees

Here's mine. I hope I did it right. It was quick. Faux window. I used my square punch, faux curtions I may be stretching that some. Thanks for looking.
THANK YOU JEN!! I've been racking my brain to come up with a quick and cheap way to make several Afghan Hound Rescue thank you cards. Your challenge was perfect--Go Faux! Card on the right uses a simple faux layer which solved the problem to add a little pop and I got these done in record time for me!
Here is my attempt. I am fairly new so I don't have a lot of the supplies to do a lot of the techniques. But I have a white gel pen. Sooooo...here it is.
I loved a card that Jenn Balcer made back in November, but I didn't have the stamp set called "It's About Time." So, I decided to try to case her card with a stamp set I did have. I made do with Artifacts and I really like how it turned out. Thanks for a great original card, Jenn!
Shoot! I was reading this thinking "I haven't done faux postage in so long!" and then I remembered my printer died, and I haven't printed a faux postage template since they upped the price to .39 cents! No one criticize me if I still use .37!!!
I just uploaded a card for today's Faux challenge, but I forgot to put in the numbers, so I guess it won't show in the gallery for today's challenge. That's OK. It is 'FAUX SHEET METAL'. Here is the link. Thanks for looking. Sharon

Here's my attempt. The flash off the copper washed out the color (but after working on this most of the day....it's staying as is!) still pending I think...but have to go watch DS at biddy ball baseball! Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
Hey, I made it on time today, hooray! This card has faux stitching, faux linen, and faux postage. Unfortunately the faux linen doesn't show up in the scan, the faux stitching is nothing to write home about, and I've done better faux postage, but this is it for today. I embossed around the faux stitching to try to dress it up a bit.
