when I first saw this challenge I automaticly thought of hot pink and black (which is one of my all time favorite color combos). As you will see, I went in a completely different direction...

We woke up today to snow, ACK!!!!! So I had to use snowflakes in the challenge. I combined it with yesterdays WT challenge since I was behind.
Thanks Jen, BTW my card uses that yummy pink velvet ribbon you sent me awhile back, it was perfect for my card!

Everybody is doing a beautiful job... I love the Hope and Believe Sentiment and Friendship...
I'm in the midst of making Christmas cards and looked to the challenge for another idea... so I've ran with that for this one, but my mind is whirring on soft pinks and swirls and ...hope!
K, when I thought pink I thought pink and brown! My favorite combo. Well I don't have basic brown paper! So I threw in some two sided ribbon that was brown! I also thought flamingos when reading pink....so...... Pink Flamingo Was showing a red x so give it a while.
Love this challenge - the thought that maybe we can bring awareness to one person today is just way beyond belief. Good challenge, Jen, thanks for posting!
I'm fairly new to SCS. I'd really like to start participating in some of the challenges. Is there anything I have to do before uploading my cards? Thanks!
I plan on participating but will have to do my card in the morning.
I have a favor to ask....since it is Breast Cancer month, I would like to tell you about my neighbor. She is very young. 26 years old, and was just diagnosed with a very aggressive breast cancer. She has already begun a very aggressive kemo treatment program and has had a bad reaction to the kemo as it actually stopped her breathing on two occasions. They had to completely change the type of treatment and she seems to be doing better with the new treatment. She is also going through gene testing right now and is probably looking at a double mastectomy and complete historectomy. They are fairly sure because of the aggressiveness of her breast cancer that she carries this much dreaded gene. Luckily she has twins (2 years old) and another daughter so at least they were done having children. Being so young, I am glad she does have her children. She just had to have her head shaved and had a awful time with that.....When I saw genie1314's card I immediately thought of her and thought maybe I should post a RAK request. Especially since we are making pink cards. I wanted to post this right away and I don't have her address with me but I will post it here as soon as I get it. I know she would appreciate some wonderful cards in the mail to brighten her spirits!
I was wondering who to give my pink card to- even though it is not really for breast cancer awareness I would love to send it!

Okay, I attempted one more as I've had visions of soft swirls and fluff and pink in my head all day... someone else will need to come up with that beaut of a card though, LOL
I up loaded this before, but it disappeared on me.
3rd time uploading, but a couple ladies, Duckwaddlequack, and notimetostamp helped me with my problem. Rename your file name. Thanks ladies your the best.

Welcome! You'll want to add LSC85 to the keyword box when uplaoding so we can see your card through a search. That's it! Can't wait to see your card!
