I'm popping in from work to say that I am suffering from "Challenge Withdrawal". I haven't been able to play in the challenges for almost two weeks and my hands are getting shaky and my right eye is starting to twitch.
WOWZA!!! These are so inspiring! I have to go shopping with my MIL (pray for me - it's a strained relationship and I offered to take her anyway), sew more Christmas jammies, go to a private tour of an exhibit at a museum (LOVE homeschooling!) and then teach sewing. Hmmm - could have stamps laid out for while sewing class is happening, on the seat for red lights, not during the museum tour - that would be uncouth!
Merry Christmas to all!! Thanks for all the giggles, chuckles, ROTFL, and the work from the moderators. I appreciate you so much!!!
OK!!!!!!!!! Got to get a couple of other things done FIRST (still trying to convince myself!!) BUT!! I think that I have some ideas brewing (and it's not safe to leave them boiling...they might bubble over and oh my!! The mess then!!)
Thanks Jen for another great challenge(s)!!!!
Okay, I got one done. The link to the original is in the description. Thanks, Jen, this is fun! I gotta go do errands, then I'll be back for more. Thanks to stamper-c for the inspiration!!
I second what WAXYO said--love the Thursday challenges! Thanks, Jen for all your hard work!
I am dying to pull out all my stuff and get to work on these challenges, but then I'd have to go naked when I go home for Christmas because I should be packing right now! I'll just have to be a stalker til I get back sometime next week.
Eek! I'm so frazzled from all the festivities (or maybe it's the egg nogg...) that I don't even know what day it is! My previous post said Thursday challenges, when I meant to say Friday challenges. Sorry about that.
Here's my card that I CASED from the catty. This is my very first time posting to a challenge. I have tried a couple of them over the last few months, but never posted one.
As a matter of fact, this is the first thing I've posted in about 2 years!!
I hope you like it.
Oh, the circles are punched and mounted with dimentionals...I don't think you can tell that in the scan. TFL 4x4 Carte Postale :-D
Oh my gosh! So many FUN challenges and only 3 days left till Christmas! It's a good thing there is no time limit, because I won't be able to play (unless I'm very sneaky!) until next week!
Thanks, Jen! And Happy Holidays to Everyone!
Maddy
One of my goals this year is to participate in the challenges! The CASE one is right up my alley because I'm still a major CASER! And the third one is excellent for me too -- not because I don't have tons of stamps, but I need practice using what I have and mixing to match! But alas and alack, I have to work all next week, don't get home from a business trip until Saturday night! Maybe, oh maybe, in my dreams! Or really, really late!
WOW!! 2 posts in one day! I can't believe it! AND 2 challenges! stamp me--I must be dreaming!
Anyway, here's my take on the Which One Challenge. For some reason when I uploaded, I didn't get the handy little template for telling what these are. I used:
Paper: Tempting Turquoise, Yoyo yellow, Only Orange, Dots & Dashes,
Ink: Tempt. Turq., Only Orange, Green Galore
Accessories: non-SU orange ribbon, stapler, dimensionals, distressor tool (from cutter kit), sponging
These are from the Dec. SS Mag--the a la carte on the first page. All cards are 3x6 (a folded piece of 6x6) They are made to fit a small envy from the 5-in1 template.:-D

I combined two of these challenges today because I can't get my DD Kenzie off my lap today and I thought it might be easier. However, I'm not overly pleased w/ the results so maybe it wasn't such a great idea....
I'm just now getting a peak at the cards. I woke up with a migraine and then learned that my son's godfather passed away sometime in the last year (found out in a Christmas card). I'm very upset right now in general because he's gone and........ that 1) I didn't know about it since we've lost touch after my divorce and 2) I addressed my Christmas card to them with both names.
I need some cheering up and look forward to seeing all of your beautiful creations. Thank you for playing along every week. SCS is such a great community and I feel like we have become true friends even though we communicate by interent. I hope that all of you celebrating Christmas on Monday have a blessed day with family and/or friends.

I'm so sorry for your loss Jen! That is so upsetting like you said both reasons....Hugs to you!
I've completed two so far, but am looking forward to the final challenge. I'm so excited there were three different challenges listed for today, because this is the first time in quite awhile I've been available to stamp!!
