Default what's a stamp camp

I have a stamp camp once a month in my home. I plan 5 projects (these are things that may be to time consuming to do at a workshop) And depending on the projects I charge to cover the cost of supplies. Guest come over and we stamp! I host mine on Saturdays from 1 to 4. I also serve a light snack. Hope this helps!

Default What is Stamp Camp?

The Stamp Camp I belong to consists of 10 members. We meet once a month with a Demo who prepares about 3-4 projects for us to complete. One of the members is the hostess for the month. We commit to place at least a $15 order so that the hostess can get the minimum for a party. (I don't think I ever placed just a $15 order.) The SC I used to belong to had a swap so we did cards every month; this new one doesn't have that so I've done some swaps here on SCS. This is done on a yearly basis. If you can't make it to the meeting, you still place your order and mostly someone else at the meeting will make your projects for you. Welcome and I know you'll love this place.

Simone, you are in Germany, Where? Are you military? We spent 7 1/2 years in Germany, I loved it. Would love to go back one day, I miss the food, the culture, the food, the people, the food, the travel, did I mention the food? We did a lot of traveling while stationed over there. My oldest DD still says she saw the Loch Ness monster when we were traveling through Scotland. Who are we to say she didn't? Anyway Welcome

Default ***What's a stamp camp?***

In my experience, the stamp CAMP is the event mentioned here where there are more projects of greater complexity than done at a Workshop. There is typically a fee for participants to cover materials.

There are also stamp CLUBS, where there is a set number of participants with the monthly event location rotating between members. The demo still provides the projects (although fewer than offered in a camp) and the materials, but there is a monthly hostess who provides treats. There are usually no charges for attending a club event but there is an expectation for club members to purchase a set amount of products each month.
