Both 3M and Avery have this "correction tape". It is sold in office supply stores is several different sizes. 1 line, 2 line or 3 line. It is used if you want to cover up a line when photocopying and comes right off the paper without damage. HTH

I could not find it anywhere either...even office depot, walmart, office supply christian store, and target...did not carry the very small 1/8th size. So I finally had to order it online.

And for the life of me, I can't remember where I ordered it from. I think it might have been office depot online.

good luck!

Would someone explain to me the use of correction tape for faux postage? It's not ringing any bells.

Thanks

you would put that around the edges of the stamp to mask the inside where you don't want the ink to go...hope this makes sense. it takes the place of having to cut out a mask from acetate or whatever you normally use. the problem is, the 1/8" size is the best one to use but we are having problems trying to track it down online and in the stores

Default post a note

How about cutting some narrow strips from the sticky part of a post a note and use that as your mask? Wouldnt that do the same thing?

You could always cut your strips to size and use a 2-way glue pen.

Viking does carry the Post-It correction tape. Sizes for 1 line is 1/6" - 2.37
2 line is 1/3" - 3.08, and 3 line is 1" - 4.53. If this helps in any way just PM me and I will give you the order codes.

sewing notions....quilters' tape is 1/8" wide. I used to use it when making "tiled" cards. Fabric store, quilt shop, etc. If it's too sticky, press it to your clothes first to reduce the tackiness.. It works every bit as well as correction tape only MUCH MUCH cheaper.

Betsy
